So, I'm 21 and just started my senior year of college, accounting. And I just got my first "real" job offer... because making coffee doesn't count as a real job. Damn Starbucks.
Anyway, the firm I've been interning at since Feb. made me an offer that knocked my socks off-- $50k [which they'll up to anything else I hear... not even am offered... if someone I know gets $54, I'll get $54. Kinda insane], the usual benefits, they'll pay for my masters 100%, books included, 23 days paid off every year, and I can start whenever I want after I graduate.
So, I'm a bit floored with how good the offer is -- the managing partner [who I met with] kept telling me that they were very impressed with my work, work ethic, and drive, so they really wanted me to work here because they said it's not something they find all the time.
[/tooting my own horn for now]
I know some other people are around where I am in school and some others were looking to make job/career changes, so has anybody else heard anything?
