Many (not all, but many) only come to make money so that their families can survive. They do that by doing the work many of us would never do. They're the largest force of manual labor here in California. They take the crappy jobs that we think are beneath us because they know that that crappy job will feed and educate their children.

That still doesn't ok the breaking of laws. I have worked "crappy jobs". Does that ok my robbing a bank? No? But my family needs to survive too.

If they want to be a US citizen they need to go home and do it the correct method.

Where's all the righteous indignation about someone defying the cops and getting hurt? Isn't it his own fault? Don't conservatives stand for personal responsibility? Ask yourself what makes him any different. As the guy in the end asks ... "how does it feel now?"

IMO we are importing a new slave class. I can agree with most of what is being said in this thread. I see this problem EVERY day.

Back in June a nice illegal alien lady totaled my car for me thank you very much.
Mexico drivers license and no insurance. No "I'm sorry" no nothing.
She wasnt arrested, she walked. She was in an 86 Plymouth Sundance.
A 300.00 car if the AC was working, it was totaled also.
A brand new Expedition pulled up and the immediately started unloading the car.
I wrote the tag down on the Expedition because it looked like she was going to run.
They got indignant about it and asked me what I was doing.

If they arent here legally they should be arrested and deported.
They dont abide by the laws at all, and they dont care who they injure by not being law abiding.
Americans that hire them should be arrested and given stiff fines.
If the jobs dry up so will the invasion stop.

And make no mistake, America IS being invaded by Mexico.

what about the people who were doing stuff like taunting him, vandalizm is ok now? cool, where do you live? i wanna protest the right of citizens (i use the U.S. Constitution's definition, see below). also, where i live i've had friends get tickets for swearing in public, so where is the citation for the person saying "what's it like now b****". What??? were you violently beaten when you were expressing your opinions mr. protester? no.

and if you notice, the cops said you are inciting a riot, put your hand down. he did.

defying the cops? the cops dragged him out of the car, he did NOT resist arrest, he did not yell and whine like a little girl, there was no "dont taze me bro".


his own fault? it is an extremely sad state of affairs when illegal immigrants can protest in our streets about our govt enforcing our laws, that every other country does every day, and a presumably legal citizen can not sit in his own car and exercise his first amendment rights.

Wow, are you on crack. He has the legal right to extend his middle finger when ever he wants. You side with an oppresive police force and a group that ENCOURAGES illegal acts? Tell you what, google the US Constitution and read it a time or two, THEN maybe you will understand.

I am about as liberal as they come on some issues, but illegal means just that. Stay in your own Country and make that a better place to live, don't come here because we have enough of our own problems.

Go after the employers and make them pay a living wage so Americans CAN do those jobs we supposedly don't want. I don't mind paying more for my fruits and vegi's.

This goes for ANY illegal person. Don't care where you come from, you want to come here, do it legally.

PROVE IT! the most often quoted "fact" about illegal immigration, and I have yet to see any studies cited that verify that. The problem with that statement is there are millions of unskilled illegal immigrants who drive down the average wage in every job they take because employers can get away with paying minimum wage, at best, and can probably pay them much less.

so to make that statement correct one would have to say "they do that by doing the work many of us would never do at that artificially low wage."

pay a fair wage for the work based on what the market will pay and not what the illegal immigrants will take and you have a whole different ball game that pro-illegal immigrant folks refuse to comprehend.

And make no mistake, America IS being invaded by Mexico.

i think if people are happy, they should continue to be happy. and other people should too. i think planet earth is a great place and i think a lot of worlds in this universe are prolly pretty bad. why dont you go travel or do something. these people take the jobs i wont. i dont wash dishes they do. and there is so much work around here IN CALIFORNIA WHERE THEY ARE ALOT that there is not one person without a job and you know what if there are jobs people can fill them at whatever price they want to work.

you ask an indian man about illegal immigration. i've done illegal things in my life. when illegal folks go to jail, they get deported. there is NO jail population of illegal immigrants and i know this cause i spent a lot of time there.

im not saying i like all mexicans. i like respectful decent hard working people. there is so many mexicans AND PEOPLE LIVE WITH THEM and i dont see how you people live such non understanding lives.

I pay federal taxes, a portion of those taxes pays for the costs created by illegal immigrants, I am affected.

why dont people learn to abide by the law, pay their taxes and immigrate legally.
