The guy with the Grand Vitara builds some of the baddest Mo-cheens I have seen. None are pretty, but they all function better than you can imagine. I'll try to dig out some pics of his S10 hybrid thing he wheeled for quite a while.

Thanks. The Jeep has been nothing but problems. I hope to iron out all the problems this winter, but we'll see.

They are tractor tires. That's not what's on there currently. He's got a set of 42" (I think) boggers on it.

they look like military tires from a duce and a half.

bleh v6. 22RE is solid as hell, why get rid of it? SAS and 4.88's with the 33s = win

I've been looking for a late 80's 4Runner... Preferably an 85 so I could have it already SAS and get the EFI but i could settle for anything 86-89. An exorbitant amount of 90's 4Runners cheap but I want the removable top and a buttload of the pickups but I want the back seat

                  3.4 is a good v6.

my 22RE is shot, it needs rings. burns lots of oil and is a rattle box.

check out pirate4x4.com for what your looking for, there are lots of guys out west and lots of toyota guys.

not alot of toy guys here in michigan. i needed a pully for my truck, had to go to 3 different junkyards to even find a toyota. the one i went to had 3 trucks, all 3rd gen, none of them even remotely close to one another in the yard, they were all hiding. I got lucky and 2 of them had 22re motors and i got the parts i need.

there is a '85 runner that carb'd a few miles from my house for $400, needs a radiator and front clip.

I mostly lurk over there, but there's some damn good tech! Also their general chit-chat area is usually hilarious!

I've definately gotten some good ideas off that website though. Working on implementing some of them right now!
