Wait, didn't you have a TJ Unlimited? Or am I just going nuts?

The X is decked out, but the Jeep is a better wheeler. I can point the Jeep at most obstacles in Western PA and it crawls right over them.

On the road though, the X is like a Caddy, the Jeep is...well...like a Jeep.

Meh, you caught me. Sold the Jeep in favor of something more economical and with the ability to haul quad gear lumber supplies etc... the truck wheels pretty good too though basically take me over most hunting trails and it comes stock with rear locker!

I do miss the Jeep though, it was a lot of fun.

                i want an e-locker.

we all know yotas wheel better than jeeps anyways.

why should you have to upgrade your axle's to run 37's?

Trust me, if you wheel, there is no way those stock TuRD axles would hold up to 37's. Maybe if all you did was run around on the street, sure.

My X has an eLocker in the rear and my Jeep has factory air lockers front and rear.

As soon as someone (ARB?) releases a locker for the front diff for the Xterra, I'll have one.

I still stand behind my statement. An 05+ Taco on 37's will have diff and axle problems if it is wheeled. That thread you posted, first shows an older toyota and second, no real wheeling (though I am shocked that a near stock truck is in one piece after a 75' jump).

                                New topic.

So tonight we were discussing off-road diesel over a case of beer, advantages and disadvantages, I.E. more torque but also heavier, built stronger but cost more for parts. I was thinking my next truck I'm thinking of getting, after college, a 3/4 ton Dodge with a Cummins and throwing a Banks system in it.

Practical use for this truck is I'm planning on starting a part time Landscape Horticulture business after college.
                                This space for rent.
