AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Latest rumors: cameo appearances by (to set them up for bigger roles in a sequal) Brenden Frazier as Gung Ho and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson as Shipwreck. Personally, I think the roles should be reversed.
Although Wingman here probably doesn't want Shipwreck to be named Hector Delgado because it would take away from the "American-ness" of the movie and offend someone. Guess we should make Shipwreck use the name "Joe Miller" now or something.

Oh I see, now we are gonna try and take personal stabs instead? Nice try but you assume wrong. Again you miss my point. Remember the idea is to keep the movie as close to the 80's as possible or else call it something else all together. So the Hector Delgado Shipwreck is very much welcomed. From your posts I would have gathered that you wouldnt mind a lets say... a Jean Francious code named ShipDeck from Antartica and still buy a movie ticket
We're you even old enough to know G.I.Joe in the 80's? From the points you raise and the conversation on this topic you attempt to make, I think not.
Again your assuming, but we know what that makes you look like...

Besides, it seems to me you'd be a lot more qualified to discuss something like a live action "Jem" movie than G.I.Joe.
Again a cheap shot...

More cheap shots, OK I'm starting to see a pattern here...

In case you haven't been keeping up with current affairs, the US is not necessarily the most loved place in some parts of the world...
I thought the Transformers movie was well done...
Will I boycott the movie, or get my patriotic undies in a wad if they drop the "Real American Hero" from the tag line and/or song? Nope...
The "American Hero" thing wasn't an important part of the story to me...
There are more heroes in the world than just Americans, so I didn't zero in on that...
Trust me I hear your points, I can smell your kind from a mile away...
All I said was IMO if your gonna do the movie stick to how it was in the cartoon, which whether it was important to you or not, was an "American Hero". Sorry, it was there, I'm not making it up. When I saw the show it gave me a sense of patriotism. Whats really funny was somehow, between my opinion of the movie and my obvious flare of patriotism, it offended you enough for you to attack me like your some agent of COBRA. It says alot about you. Let the light cast upon the shadows, and reveal us for who we really are
Enjoy YOUR movie.
