this question is as old as what came first the chicken or the egg. I vote for neither and vote for a pound of paintballs.

isent the answer to the chicken question the egg? Cause the the first chicken like creature had to evolve the ability to lay the egg, then the egg had to come, with contained the first chicken, and so on and so on? or do i have it backwards?

A pound of feathers and a pound of bricks weigh the same because BOTH ARE A POUND.

Actually FeeltheRT you are incorrect, they do not both weigh the same. So try again.

Well you are half right sniper1rfa, the feathers are heavier, but it is not because the unit of measure is the British Pound, but (here is a hint for ya'll) another type of pound. What are the bricks made of?

OK, I will give in. Precious metals are weighed using the Troy system. A Troy pound only masses 373 grams, a standard pound is 454 grams. So you see since gold is measured using a different system it weighs less than the pound of feathers.
