Well, I made a lightbar for my Tacoma. Saved about 120$ too.





Used a plasma to cut it from 3/16 plate then just tacked the two pieces together and cleaned em up with a belt sander.

After that, took it to the milling machine and milled out the center cention then cut the holes with a hole saw.

Made some brackets from the bumper out of angle iron and then bolted these onto those.

I bent the bar with a torch and a bale wagon (the one I posted pictures of while back)







and a round of applause goes to whoever can tell me what this does



I'm referring to the stack of stainless steel plates.

i'm just guessing....I was thinking either an ionizer for smells or a capacitor for stereo.....but I cant tell if there is anything beween the plates and what is metal and what isnt....looks almost like a nylon bolt going through the center.....but I'm color blind to begin with and looking at computer screens for a while screws with my eyes(I'm been reading parts Homer's Iliad for the past 3 hours on the computer.....stupid online greek civilization class)

its all stainless except for a nylon bolt and nut joining them all down the middle there are two negative plates and 3 positive.



and you place it in the black pipe which will be full of water.

You sir are making a hydrogen fuel cell...er so to speak your gonna run a bit of charge through them plates that will break down that there H2O in the black pipe and use some vaccum pressure form your intake to suck that into your engine.

Flux Capacitor

I recently heard a good story about the recall on the Tacs from a buddy. His brother bought one before the recall for something like $500. It was in bad shape all around. Put about $1k of work into it just to keep it running. Recall came out and Toyota ended up giving him $8,000 to buy the truck back!

Now if only I could manage to mod my '99 Dodge Dakota to look like a Tacoma..
