With a limited machine, then you are limited with the games that you can play. It would help if you could actually find out what the graphics card was. That would help determine what games that you could play

You should also look at the Medal of Honor series. Great shooters, and should run fine on a early P4 machine.
WOW, sigs. Havent seen these in a while here on AO.

i really liked S.T.A.L.K.E.R. its rather long and has lots of exploring and extra quests can do along the way.

Experience the new generation of games and entertainment with Xbox. Play Xbox games and stream video on all your devices.

Check this game out. It didn't get a lot of press but a friend gave it to me and I played it for a month solid offline and freaking loved it.

a great fps game i would pick up is American McGee's Alice. sooooo fun and soooo cool. i'd also recommend getting need for speed most wanted, takes a long time to beat.

nullDC, although you need an actual dreamcast to obtain the BIOS, or get the file of it somehow. Then you can play almost any dreamcast game on your computer, provided you actually have the game disk or iso. Project 64 is also fun for N64. You should pick up a USB controller, or use a console controller hooked up via USB.

Nox is a fun game, sort of like Diablo 2. You can get it free now at http://www.noxforum.net/ Once you complete the story, you could just burn time on the quest mode, which is fun.

If your into RTS (if you are, then you've probably played a few of these games), then get the Command and Conquer battlechest. It has CnC, Red Alert, Tiberian Sun, Red Alert 2, Regenade (FPS), Generals, and all of their expansions. You could alternativly pick up Tiberium Wars, which is their latest release.

Another fun RTS game is Homeworld. If you need a serial number, just pm me. It's another old game, but its fun.

If you haven't played metal gear solid, they have PC versions of the first and second.

If you have Warcraft 3, you could download a bunch of custom campaigns and play those.

Nobody has even mentioned Mavis Beacon Typing or Math Blaster! Did anybody have Jill of the Jungle?

I'd toss in a vote for the AOE series because you can play a round in a short time, but that does get old after a while...

I remember owning mathblaster, just was too young to remember playing any of it.

I do remember Mavis Beacon's racing minigame though. That was the only thing that kept me from going insane in computer class.
