    CZ firearms? anyone?

Alright so I am in the market for a side by side shotgun. Its just one of those things that I have always wanted. I want something nice... so Im willing to spend a fair penny, but nothing over the top like a very high end side by side. (like one of those 50-100k jobs)

So im in the shop and see a CZ side by side... I was really impressed. whats anyones opinion about them as a company? their quality? I saw they are ISO9000 and whatever euro mfg standards so thats a plus I suppose.

Other than that... anyone else have any suggestions for a side by side? I saw a weatherby, really tempting. but yeah the CZ so far for its price really has my eye.

Don't get hung up on ISO systems. I am (or at least was) certified to set up ISO for a company and frankly I thought it was nothing but a sham. Basically you make a manual saying how you do things and then swear that is how you will do things. There is nothing to hold you to that oath.

I set it up for a medical manufacturing company and that exempted them from the FDA authority.

My question to the managers "What if we don't hold to the manual? Who holds us to that?"

    Their answer "No one."

"Well what will happen if we don't hold to the manual?"

    "Nothing."

As for the CZ shotgun? I haven't used one but they look to be nice and nicely made.

I know the sniper guy sasha in Behind Enemy Lines shoots a CZ pistol.

Not much other than that, did you check wikipedia?
      Good luck.

A friend of mine has a CZ-82 pistol and loves it. It's comfortable and well made. I've never seen their shotguns, but I'd imagine they would probably be built just as well.

I used a CZ rifle as a base to build a .17 Ackley hornet a few years ago. All i've ever heard about them is good.

I've had various CZ pistols over the years. The quality and craftsmanship were excellent, even if the designs were sometimes odd.

Most people I've talked to who have purchased CZ long arms have been very happy.

I really like their bobwhite side by side. I went in to look at a stoger, and saw the CZ... really impressed. Im not one to buy on a whim... but I was really close.

I can't say I've ever used a CZ long gun, but their pistols are quality. I would not hesitate to buy one of their long guns if the price was right!!

CZ looks and feels like a quality shotgun. I was looking at their over-under but this left with me:

                    Shes pretty.

They don’t have a pump, or auto feed... its just two shots, then ya break it open and drop in two more rounds... just like Elmer fudd on loony tunes...not like that semi auto above.

I have Owned a lot of CZ handguns and they are really nice. Never had any experience with the shotguns though.
