AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
Have you read Dan Brown's non-Langdon books (Deception Point and Digital Fortress)? If not, read them, I enjoyed them thoroughly. Actually think I prefer the themes and tones of those two vs. the tone and religious-ness of A&D and DC.
One of my favorite books, but the unabridged version is a little big for vacation, I think. Its been a little while, but what is it, 1,500 pages? It's a beast. (but absolutely worth reading, easily my favorite of all the Dumas books, although the 3M books are good too).
I just finished up Deception Point and Digital Fortress this month. Definately liked DF better. DC was good, just not into politics (yes, I know, there werent really any deep politics in the book) The last 60 pages to DP made the book worthwhile. I couldnt put DF down, and enjoyed the code at the end.
