Any of you folks interested in photography might find this interesting. I did a story on a guy who made a camera out of the back of a box truck.
Print photo story: http://www.thecaptainslog.org/pdfs/V...ssue10/pg2.pdf (only PDF, sorry, for some reason our online editor doesn't put up the Page Two feature section in our online edition)

I feel like a tool posting after myself. I promise I'll stop of this thread doesn't pick up again, but I like seeing what ya'll have to share, and I like showing off what I've been doing recently.
I go to a D3 school, so while sports aren't as huge a deal as they would be at most D1 schools, it gives me a good opportunity to shoot whatever sports I want even though I don't have a ton of experience. Football season's over, but basketball's just getting started!
But shooting basketball is a whole different beast than football. I suddenly miss having that time to set up somewhere new and anticipate what's about to happen between every play, haha.
A couple decent shots from tonight:

Went paddleboarding in the morning on Sunday. 3-4 foot surf. Caught a few nice waves.
Then later took the family out. My wife went out with a few friends and loved it.
Then I took my daughter out with me. Made her a paddle her size before we left.
One of the happiest "daddy" moments so far!

I been out of work for the last 6 weeks so paintball been alittle hard to afford without that extra "me time" money coming in.
My luck tho, I bought a brand new ATV a week before my lay off..
On a weekend basis, its alot cheaper than paintball, so for over the last month I been hitting the trailsComment

AZ? Where are you located? anywhere near Tucson?Originally posted by zondoYeah, I took the picture (no I wasn't on the controls at the time). This is Sedona, AZ on our way back from the Santa Fe Airshow. I say this is a hobby because lately it seems like I am doing more administration and paperwork and flying has gone to the back burner.Comment

Wow, full weekend this time...
Went to doctor (becoming a hobby
)
Yearly rebuild of 1978 John Deere snowblower and 1984 Jiffy Ice Auger... Icefishing to follow.
Tore the Corvette transmission apart in the garage, hopefully there won't be snow outside and I can put everything back together soon... Nothing more white trash than an entire Corvette body wrapped in tarps hanging from the beam/skyhook on the side of your garage all winter.Comment
