      I think he gets it.
The ones that rammed their power grab bill (they called it health care) thru even though
their constituents overwhelmingly warned them not to do it.
Yep, they have tar all over them, baby !

You may have had a point until the 110th congress. Today however, you are largely wrong. Republicans have abandoned reality-based governing.

Are you doing this on purpose for amusement or are you serious?

Dead serious. It is a major, major problem with our nation that people can, with a straight face, deny that. I mean you have a president implementing more or less exactly what he promised in his election campaign and look at what people have to say about it, how the minority party is behaving and how complicit the media is in spreading false narratives. Rank hypocrisy is now not only acceptable, but common. The right has become a caricature, but the frightening thing is it's going unnoticed.

There is no "right" governing. If you are reffering to the limp spined moderate-progressives, then I agree.

So, you see all the issues with the right, but seem to think the left is immune from them? Really? Are you kidding? As has been noted below I am missing the "no more back room deals / less corruption / not hiring lobbyists / open and honest discussion" from both sides... imagine that, politicians lie and those who like them ignore it. Its a popularity contest, not a political process at this point.

You illustrate exactly why such conversations have no purpose, thank you.

Well the media for the most part is Democratic... As for Obama doing just what he said in pre'election lies??? What about "transparency in the government"? What about "no more of this push stuff through without reading/learning about it first"? hmmmmm... all those closed door buyouts?

Yeah sure... just what he said...

You run with that one! You know if it was so cut and dry, there wouldn't be Dems fighting against him as well don't ya think?

                          sheeeesh...

I have a question for you Mr My Poop Don't Stink...

What are your thoughts/feelings/ideas/etc on persons with the right to peaceful assembly getting disrupted by people who are against the cause and saying/doing things that are then linked to the cause but is actually a ploy to make that cause look bad and to cast untruths onto them?

I'll elaborate more, but that's enough to get ya started.
