Honestly T-Mobile hasnt come out with a better Android/HTC phone since the G1, and they've released like 3 or 4.
They better get with it and come out with a Nexus like something or I'm jumping ship to Sprint for that Evo 4G.

you're crazy, t-mobile has the best android phone out right now, the nexus one.

You have made two mistakes with your statement.Originally posted by Leafyyou're crazy, t-mobile has the best android phone out right now, the nexus one.
http://www.google.com/phone
First of all if you check the specs on both phones you will find the HTC Incredible (Verizon) is the king of baaad right now (for this week at least lol).
Second I dont believe you've posted a T-Mobile link their guy.
You cant buy the Nexus One from T-Mobile now can you ?
Theres two huge problems with NOT getting your phone from T-Mobile.
A little thing called insurance....I called T-Mobile about this and the rep had to
put me on hold and ask someone. The answer was yes, I could get insurance,
but I didnt get a good feeling about it, very convoluted. I got the feeling from the
rep not knowing, and the hesitation, that it very likely could be that she told me wrong .
And Googles customer service was an unknown quantity.
Well now after the fact we know their customer service stinks.
People had problems with the phone and they didnt replace them, didnt know what to tell them. Told them stuff like move to a different room....
If I had dropped $529 on a phone and couldnt get insurance or customer service I would
be looking for Eric Schmidt's house so I could brick his front window with the phone.
T-Mobile has THEE best customer service of any cell phone company I used, and I've had them all except Verizon, and in this area of the country theirs is so bad its legendary.
I got rid of my land line because of them.
So buying a phone from Google is a very bad idea.
But it very well could be they may sell it thru T-Mobile stores soon (I'm hoping).
Vodafone stores in 6 European countries are selling them now so I'm hoping maybe
T-Mobile US will too .

I figured if they were offering a discount through t-mobile it was the same as buying from t-mobile. Oh well, I'm in the market for a new t-mobile phone in june, so we'll see. i want them to come out with a new side kick, I like my 55 dollar a month for unlimited data, text, and 300 minutes talk (and thats after taxes).Comment

I cant upgrade till October myself so I hope T-Mobile comes out with a "superphone" before then. I have the loyalty plan, unlimited minutes in the US for 49.99 and unlimited data for 24.99. I use mine for business and typically have 3000 minutes or more a month.Originally posted by LeafyI figured if they were offering a discount through t-mobile it was the same as buying from t-mobile. Just as a heads up.
I am not knocking the Android at all, and am not sure of the exact model, but a buddy of mine is on his third one. The last of which caught fire in his hand, next to his head. I was there, and watched it happen. IDK if this is a common problem with the phone, but they gave him TWO replacement phones and a years free service as an apology.
I was talking with him about being a bit reluctant to continue using a phone that caught fire while in use.Comment

I read most of the Android websites daily and have not heard of any catching fire.
And nothing comes up on Google about any Android phones catching fire.

iPhone is finally old news. thank God. I'm sick of apple anyways.
verizon has exceptionally awesome customer service.
The Droid Incredible is...well incredible.
better than the Nexus 1 even
The Evo 4G is pretty much the only phone out there better than the incredible and it only has a few minor ups in comparison:
4G network. if you live in one of the like, 12 cities in the country that has sprint 4G this might mean something to you. for the rest of us,
1.3 megapixal FRONT camera. kinda cool for taking pictures of yourself. or using it as a webcam for skype or something.
HDMI output. yup. that's cool. (it should be noted that the Incredible is capable of TV Out, it's just not HDMI)
froyo is going to be awesome (sorry for all those Hero owners, no 2.2 for you =[ )
flash 10.1! I wonder if I'll be able to watch Hulu on my phone??
in conclusion, apple sucks. google is taking over the world and I'm actually OK with it.Comment
