if the towers fell at anything BUT free fall I'd be worried...

When you are running at a bunker and someone hits you with a paintball (going 250FPS!!!) do you fly backwards or flip over? NO! this isn't a freakin hollywood film...

Now look at the towers, you have what 20 stories above the impact site? when those floors gather momentum and hit the already damaged floors beneath them, they aren't going to slow down.. THATS PHYSICS...

Here is another analogy, when you are driving on the highway and hit a bug, how much does your car slow down? Physically it DOES slow down, but not by any measurable amount.

    again...

      that is a great link.

the interesting part that i find in all this, is that i think the real root of the conspiracy theories is that the towers LOOKED like they were imploded, like we have all seen on those trueTV or whatever shows about demolitioned buildings. the assumption being, if it fell so predicitably, it had to be that way on purpose - however, as always, the implication of design does not imply a designer. thats just how a building loaded in that manner with that failure mode would destroy itself. there is no latteral load, ergo there is no lateral motion.

the funny thing, if i was going to blow up a 110 story building (which im not planning on doing) for the purpose of scaring poeple - i'd knock one tower into the other tower! this is after all the plan the WTC bomber tried to do in the 1990s. something like could easily have been done with control demo ...

        EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like im arguing in physics class again back in high school.. These kids just couldn't wrap their heads around a bullet analogy. That a bullet fired parallel to the ground at 3 feet, and a bullet dropped from 3 feet at the same time will hit the ground at the same time... EVERY TIME!

Horizontal and vertical velocity and forces are completely independent. No horizontal force= no horizontal motion.. pure vertical!!!

ITS PHYSICS!!!!! and I've taken 4 physics classes, I semi know what I am talking about in that aspect...

This link covers none of issues raised in the links I provided, nor most of the questions people have. Way to argue the issues with,,,,,,nothing.

you can't prove a negative. so no one can prove something like you posted didn't happen.

you can only prove what did happen. we know what happened and why, and there isn't any compelling holes in the what happened.

except is explains exactly how and why they fell, having nothing to do with controlled demo...

And yeah, again, I dont care what the resistance is.. when you drop 20(north) to 40(south) stories of the top of a skyscraper onto one floor every 15-20? feet, its going go through them like they weren't there... I am sorry that doesn't work for you, it is what it is. Momentum's a *****.

                    Yup.

My favorite part so far... I've never seen a helicopter with a tail like that. I'm very sorry they lost it... but it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to know we can actually pull something like that off still.

I edited your post in the quote.

My point is I believe these laws should not be bent ever. There are reasons assassination is illegal. Wars are started that way. How do we poliece the world and thumb our nose at the international laws we enforce . It woulb be like a cop shooting an unarmed someone he saw commit a crime. Judge, Jury and Exacutioner always leads to abuse of power which is why we try our Criminals in a court of law. Not shoot them in a raid, supposedly.

So what values do we stand for now with the rest of the world?
We imprison indefinitely without charge and recourse.
                          We torture.
                          We assassinate people without trial.
We lie about the reasons we go to war.
                          We violate international law.
                          We abuse our troops.
Our government lying to us is accepted as "for our own good"

Our nation has lost all sense of HONOR and replaced it with PRIDE.

Not the country(republic) I was brought up to believe in, and not the one I thought I served.

Oh. yeah I didn't see ya changed the quote (real classy by the way). I was talking about us being able to develop cutting edge technology like a stealth and silent helicopter without even some of the leaders in the industry even having a clue that such a bird existed. I like the fancy new helicopter, thats all.

Naw here's the deal. The world is run by a bunch of old dudes who have been in charge of the show for the past 30 or so years. The UN and other little organizations that govern treaties and international laws are so fiscally anemic compared to the companies that the real world leaders run... it's funny. Really what are they going to do? Make us pay a fine? LOL. Add it to the tab.

Osama obviously cost someone a lot of money. After all he did take responsibility for quite a few expensive things over the years. Then this whole Afganistan war, with this massive flood this past year probably started to mess with someones bottom line, and decided we needed an excuse to stop spending more money there... so lets kill that main target guy, leave, and start spending our money on something else now. Oh I know... lets go invest in all these arab states that are starting to realize the reason they don't have the latest cell phone is because their leader was an idiot... lets go sell them stuff now.
