      1. Give $1 million split to my church and a local ministry I work with.
      2. Pay off all my debts
      3. Build a detached garage/shop, and finish all the other home and shop projects I have going on.
      4. Trade in my 3 late model vehicles for a new truck and a new car. Nothing extremely flashy. Ford F150 and Cadillac STS probably. They'll be loaded, but they won't be a Bentley or Lamborghini or anything like that.
      5. Buy the debts of my immediate family and then set up annual tax-exempt gifts to forgive those debts over time, allowing my family to live comfortably as well.
      6. Do some major estate planning to make sure my kids and their children and children's children are all able to obtain a solid education.
      7. Live comfortably off the interest with my family, picking up any hobby I want. I'd like to travel, learn a new language or two, become a pilot, learn to be a hobby machinist, train my bird dogs, etc.
      8. Make whatever other philanthropic gifts I feel like at the time. Set up scholarships for the local schools, support local benevolent organizations, etc.

      It's all a pipe dream, I know.

Pay off all debts, buy a lotus T128 so i don't have to race to get that sensation, invest 1 million of it, donate another, buy my parents nice things (new kitchen, cars, etc), travel, hopefully be crafty enough with it that i don't have to work at least for a while.

            1) Build new house, pay cash, don't borrow against it.
            2) Buy the wife a nice small SUV, and myself a replacement for truck.
            3) Restore 2nd Corvette to match the first one.
            4) Brand new high-end appliances (dishwasher, water heater, TVs, etc across the board)
            5) New barn + 2 Gypsy Vanner horses.
            6) Maximum contributions to all IRAs for several years.
            7) Step down to lowest enjoyable level at work and RELAX.
            8) More guns, more weekends to play.
            9) Big ass diamond for the wife.
            10) House on Marthas Vineyard for the old man.

I would divide it into 5 batches.

1st would be investments into rental property. Most likely strip mall type stuff as they are fairly easy to fill the slots and they tend to not trash the units.

2nd would be investing in stocks. Macintosh and Google.

3rd would be investing in firearms. High end and rare stuff. Class 3 for a bunch of it.

4th would be investing in gold and platinum. Coins, bars, things like that where you actually have the gold in hand.

5th would be for a home, living expenses, and family/friends.

If the investing is done properly... you, your family, and your friends should be able to live off it for pretty much the remainder of your life. I have friends who live off #1 and are looking to invest in more of them.

I would buy PTP & kick that useless Tracy to the curb. Send everyone that ordered a MM09 an apology letter with a full refund & a T-shirt. I would ensure the troops were getting quality kit as well & not like the junk that was passed on to us.

Then relax & dream up all the stuff I could fabricate with all that equipment & the rest of the $$$

Look at Silver, historically its 1/16 the price of gold/ounce. Gold right now is sitting at wwhat 1,600 per ounce while silver is at 30 per ounce.

I really don't play the lottery, maybe a $1 here and there, but you can't win if you don't play. What I'd do if I ever won.
1st pay off all loans (business and student), Credit cards (business and personal).
2nd Invest some in precious metals, and foreign assets. (It sounds anti american but the USD isn't doing so hot right now)
                        3rd Buy a house
4th Buy a property with another house/decent amount of land. Start a Nursey and use the house as for display/show/offices. Move in the landscaping business, Restructure into a LLC or Corp, redo business plan to focus on landscape construction.
5th Buy equipment, Need a new skid loader the New Holland is on her second engine and wheel motors. Would mind picking up a compact track loader, mini skid,, a backhoe and a mini ex. Make a giant sandbox (NO! MY SANDBOX TOYS!). LOL

Great thing is I can claim most of that above.
                        This space for rent.

                          $10,000,000.00
                          1 million to my church.
.5 million in US or Canadian Silver coin.
1.5 million in historical firearms, associated gun "stuff" and secured storage (basement safe room).
1 million in trust to be used for approved investments/business ventures for my children.
1 million to distribute to members of my family for their discriminate use.
.1 million to purchase daily use vehicles.
.1 million for garage/workshop expansion on my property.
.1 million for tooling (lifts, machine tools, materials).
.1 million to finish the five project vehicles I am currently on.
2.5 million to invest in my own engineering firm.
1.5 million to invest in long term retirement strategies
.6 million to be invested for property maintenance and upkeep type expenditures.

Hopefully, this would allow a lifestyle that meets or exceeds my family's needs for the
foreseeable future, and possibly for the rest of my family's futures.
