I've used a soldering iron... as long as you don't have "keloid" type skin reactions it doesn't scar up too bad. It worked for the one I wanted gone, so that's all the first hand I have, but I'm pretty sure it could be "burnt" off using a well placed shot of CO2.

I had a good tattoo artist do a cover up.Originally posted by RT LoverHey all I have a outline of a tribal sleeve on my arm, outside of a long story ita almost been a year and im ready to get it gone so i can get what i want... what r some good options anybody have experience or good input on which way to go??
I had a heart with my wifes name in it and an arrow through it .
He put a dragon over it with carefully placed hatch marks etc and voila it disappeared.Comment

Cover up work is the best solution if you're fine with having ink.
Lasers are expensive, painful, and not guaranteed to be 100% effective. Also, I've heard it's quite painful.
I would advise people considering permanent work be convinced for at least a year before getting it done. Especially first pieces.
/Ironically, no tattoosGod....I guess I was probably returning videotapes.Comment

Great example of the reason why you put your ink on paper, and not your skin.
The US dollar will soon be worthless, but diamonds are forever.

While I love my wife dearly, there is no way in heck that I would ever have her name tattooed on me.Originally posted by livinglikeakidI had a good tattoo artist do a cover up.
