Fords front ends suck, you cannot keep them aligned, and the motors blow too, they have no power and alot of them don't last.
Why dodge wasn't included in this poll I don't know.

as far as trucks are concerned, i drive an 84 bronco (full sized of course, there is no other kind ), and i love it, 350,000 miles and still going, although i have a new crate motor im gonna drop in it. i also love chevy, the older suburbans are awesome. then again i love big vehicles.

considering i also have an 89 cadillac fleetwood brougham, that covers gm, and a 1971 plymouth duster which covers mopar, i guess i like all american cars

as for the american muscle debate, all you pansies with your new camaroes and stangs and vettes, you got nothing on my 71 duster, rockin the 426 hemi, now thats the greatest american motor ever made!!!

take it easy on the vette comment. the new z06 will stay with you man, and outrun on top end. my heart is always with the classic 69 camaro. and with a few more options (all aluminum 427 from copo) they cannot be beaten by even newer cars. dusters are nice, so are challengers (rt). hell ill take just about any muscle car over any new car.

i have always owned chevy trucks, and have always hated fords....all fords. i guess that is the way i was brought up!! and for the people months ago screaming about the lightining, what do yall think about the dodge srt-10?

I don't want to burst your bubble, but the 03/04 Cobra with a $50 pulley to kick the boost up, will put down more horsepower than your hemi. The Cobra will blow its doors off if you throw a few corners into the mix. However, if you want to talk classic muscle, I have to stick with my 'stangs and offer up a 429 Boss - the 429 shotgun hemi was a thing of beauty for its day. Don't even get me started on the 427 cammer.

Your talking comparing a new car to a 70's one. And the new car needs modification to beat the stock 70's car. The 426 Hemi was probably the best stock motor used back in the muscle car era.

                      Car wise: Ford vs Chevy
-I like Mopar better Duster 340 and Hemi anything.

                      Trucks: Ford vs Chevy
-Neither again. Nissan is a half ton better now since they now have a full line up light and full sized trucks(pun intended). Have you test driven a new Titan? Well considering the Nissan Peltier dealership was the first dealership to mention the full sized truck to Japanese head honchos, we got a fleet of them before anyone else. My dad and I got to drive one and I must say, it blows the competition away. Its smoother, more powerful, AND looks gorgeous inside and out. And in the end, we got a Double Cap Tundra because my dad has a friend as a dealer. Its equally as good, but if it were my choice and we had the money the Titan is a lot better, even though the power rear window in the Tundra is perfect for reaching back and giving everyone a cold one from the cooler in the bed of the truck Also Frontiers have lasted a lot longer than most domestic trucks without going under major repairs in my area.

Import small beater 4 bangers will outlast any domestic 4 bangers, their v6s will outlast any domestic v6, and now that they got an 8 we will know for sure who designs a better vehicle. It will be interesting to see how the import full sized trucks last in ten years(Nissan, Toyota). If they run as good as their cars, then I think this proves who are just better as companys than Ford, Chevy, or Dodge. Im sorry but the Japanese automakers just have had higher standards of engineering when it comes to consumer markets.

Example: lets get two recent cars, my personal favorite the 350Z(or G35 droooool) and every teenage girls dream car to drive a Stang Now the 3.5L VQ35DE V6 makes around 290 HP, 275lb/ft. Now Ford's 4.6L DOHC V8, which is a full 1.1L more found in their Mach 1, makes 305HP, 320lb/ft? Does anyone see something wrong with this? Nissan's V6 is only behind 20 more horses than the DOHC verson of Ford's V8?!

Now back to the trucks, Toyota and Nissan's trucks aren't just benefiting the Japanese. Both the Tundra and its sister SUV, the Land Cruiser are both built in the USA, as with Nissan Titan and Armada. So it benefits the USA, more than the Japan by providing jobs from its factories. This also means we will get to see on the race track soon a Tundra truck in the professional races and also a Titan since both qualify due to their building in the USA:) I would love to see the results of the races because Toyota's race division is one of the best teams in the world.

well, any car can beat any car with the right modifications, but no word strikes fear in the heart of racers anywhere like the word: HEMI

i mean hey, they still use em in top fuel drag to this day! granted they are all custom, and super done up, but they are still hemi. if i drop a couple hundred bucks worth of parts into my duster like you are talking about with the stang or vette or whatever, the duster can take em. i mean, you can do that with whatever car but the duster looks better, and its my dream car
