This truly is a sad day in America. This will be in history books as one of the worst terrorist attacks ever. My prayers and thoughts go out to the victims families.

I go to a prep school. I have a few friends whose dads fly out of logan (they r pilots) each was called down to the office and every1 feared the worse. But it turns out that none of the kids dads were on the planes. Also my homeroom teachers sis works at the pentagon where the plane crashed into. These r just a few of the people that have family in those buiding. This is sad. Someone needs nuked. MY mom just said that another buildin may collapse in NY. they r showin photos of it now. Boy this makes me mad.

Sorry if Im not being very clear today... my brother was out of contact for a good portion of the morning, and he goes to school very close to the WTC, and we couldn't get in touch with him or the school. Also, my friend Gale was extremely lucky and didn't go to work today, otherwise she would have been in the WTC very close to the time of the catastrophe. God knows if anyone else I know was involved...

The number of people who where in both Towers are scary. It's beleived that there were roughly 50,000 workers and 70,000 visitor in the towers when then the two plains hit. Most of them were still in the buildings when the towers came down. Many innocent people lost their lives today. Our condolences to all the families and friend who lost someone in this mornings events.

I agree with Shartley. This just galvanizes the United States to a common goal. I'm from Missouri and I have yet to hear anyone with anything negative to say. Almost everyone is praying for the families and waiting for the military response. There are flags out in front of EVERY store in town today.

WOA, where do i start??? WEll first off, i'm not from teh US but i truly feel for everyone down there. I too have a sick feeling im my stomach as i watch the news etc. I hope you guys take swift and just action. Our local airport is now filled with the transfered flights, around 30 planes, 5,000 + pepople. They plan to use the sports stadium to house all these people until something more stable can be done for them. Anyways, i'm back to watch the news, i can't believe this is happening, seems to serreal(sp?). My prayers go out to those who need it the most.

I think the casualties arent 100,000 thank the Lord. It seems that 50,000 people move THROUGH the building each day, or that is what some people said so the casualties arent that great.sad real sad. But still my estimates are still high given the area.
Im am extremely pissed off at these people in the West Bank. Happy since people died?
