What do you guys think of these hijackings? It shocks me that 4 air planes can be taken control of and used as a weapon. What happen to air plane security, haven't we learned that airplanes can be easy targets for terrorists? I think where looking to much to stop higher-tech forms of terrorism and not enough at the other forms of terrorist attacks. We have all seen hijacking movies on TV ever since commercial airplanes have been made. What kind of security are we using to prevent these things from happening? Its sad that we still have problems with controlling our planes against terrorism. I'm just hoping that we find who ever is behind these horrible attacks and get our revenge.

i was in spanish class when our vice principal annouced this to us over our intercom. about fifteen minutes later we had tvs set up every major location and misc. classrooms and almost everyone spent the whole school day watching the news.

geez can you beleive it? All the schools in all the other counties around ours all closed early. Our county is also 2nd closest to Washington DC. The princapal claimed, "school building the is the safest place to be".

The streets were just about completely empty and no druggies hanging out behind McDonalds today. anways..

I guess we'll never ever see the WTC ever again . . .

what was the point of the crash in Littletown PA?

If you ask me, i think that one was for the White House but after finding out that Bush was out of town, and fighter jets patroling Washington, just just decided to crash somewhere far away so the idea wouldn't be thought of.

I don't think that is was supposed to crash there. It was on it's way from Boston towards California i think. So it was probably hijacked with the intentions of sending towards D.C. would be my guess.

I hate to say it, but i am rather anxious to get Army's take on all this.

everytime I finish reading one page it seems another adds on, anyways....

All I gotta say, is I can garentee we're about to have the strongest military force out there to attack if we decide to attack anyone. A major event like this unites us, then the anger and pain gives us strength and rage against the enemy. If there is a draft of any sort, I can almost garentee something like half the available nation will join forces to fight, and the other half will be working at home to supply

Words cannot describe my profound sense of horror, disbelief and rage. Simply put, I cried today.

My prayers go out to the innocent victims who have lost their lives in this national tragedy. My only hope now is that the criminals responsible for this terrorist attack are not US citizens.
