I feel that calling out one Sheriff over rude remarks is warranted. The action taken by shutting down an entire sheriffs dept. preventing security during election processes ~ And then bragging about it?
Must be a Democrat thing like defund the police or shut down ICE. If you're OK with it, fine. Your choices are your own to make.
We, as American citizens have to make a collective choice. With the world in its current state, who do you want as Commander in Chief? A DEI hire or a convicted felon?

Well, it is unclear that the sheriff is but one person filling that position or an entire department. So, if it is one person, then it is warranted. Also, if there was a entire sheriff's department, then one could assume to remove that sheriff from those security details and proceed, but with some county's, sheriff is an elected position without a branch under them.

Who is saying anything about defunding them? Why are you even mentioning ICE? Stop reading more into it.

A DEI hire would be someone that would be put into a position. Being a district attorney, then state DA and then senator are all elected positions, so absolutely, and emphatically NO. Let's go down a historical story about why that sheriff was doing bad.

Way back, a group (we'll call them the Natces) of people had a beef with another group of people, blaming them for things they didn't do or had control of. So, through intimidation and thoughts of others, being able to control them, but that didn't work. The Natces went full into nationalism and making big boisterous complaints on how that other group was all to blame for the entire countries woes.

Because those Natces wanted to separate and demonize those people, they made it so you had to register, i.e. taking down the names and putting them on lists. Soon, lists weren't enough so they had to wear specific symbols to further separate the citizens from those, we'll call them "undesirables". So a5 a glance, you can tell who the democrats were from the republicans. Then things got worse, and the republican leader said he wanted to put all those that oppose him, into camps. You know, to control them.
