Six years, folks. If we can't turn around the last 500 years of mankinds impact on the climate within that time ~ We're doomed!
Just more fear mongering. Why do they do this? Most of us are not stupid. One of the smartest I've seen since Jacob Bronowski would be James Burke, who produced a documentary back in 1989 that covers climate change and it's impact on human civilization as well as human impact on climate.
    It's a good watch, I suggest it.

You are sighting a 35 year old documentary? While James Burke is great, his connections series(both of them are great), so much has happened since then. Just the mere fact that the mass industrialization of China and India, which I would guess contribute about 25% of the pollution since then has had a drastic effect. Add in more deforestation of the amazon(it's kinda easier to cut down an old growth tree than it is to grow a replacement), and it's not a gentle decline, it is a a speeding car heading towards a cliff.

But sure, if you want 100 hurricanes a year, more snow in Texas than Colorado, no fish in the seas, dirt that can't grow anything anymore; be my guest.

You sometimes remind me of an old black & white T.V. my family owned when I was a child. The kind you had to walk over and give it a good smack to get the signal to come in clear.

And that's your problem. The signal was always clear, just your understanding or reception of it is wrong. Just b3cause you cannot believe it, doesn't make it false. The times, they are a changing...

Really? Quoting a Bob Dylan song probably older than you are. You would've been better off with Steppenwolf.
Perhaps the BeeGees are more your style.

My reception is exceptional, as is my understanding of what's right or wrong. What these changing times tell me is that I have to "believe" things I know to be wrong.
Just because I cannot believe it, doesn't make it false _ you said.
Just because it's false, doesn't make me believe it _ I say.
Perhaps that's your problem. Of the two sentences above, You adhere to the first.

Human men can menstruate and get pregnant? I don't believe it, but you say it's "not false".
The border is secure? The economy is great? I don't see it, can't believe it, however you say it's "not false".
Gender, Pronouns? Hopefully that's a fad that will vanish like Hari Krishna. Perhaps insane, but certainly can't be false.
A President who speaks the truth? Haven't seen that in my lifetime but hey, still can't be false.
I could go on, but the times they are changing - right?

I'd suggest you read Alvin Toffler. Or go back to James Burke.

Heavy metal thunder or the pusher. You decide...

Which actually exemplifies the narrative you are trying to force here. You don't believe that I would know Bob Dylan, or Steppenwolf(my dad saw them 6 times and played there albums often), but decided to insult me with the Beegees, who sold more records Than Stephen wolf, but .ore importantly, Maurice Gibbs played paintball. He, before he died, was a big proponent of the sport. So you can say you learned at least 1 thing today.

The thing is, you cannot accept the possibility that you could be wrong. You strung a bunch of false equivalency statement, loosely connected to my statement to try and prove what you said as fact. Then added in a bunch of other nonsense(which to be fair, I do as well) to support a loose narrative.

By my own statement, it is true. Smart Parts believes, amongst other things, that spiral porting makes their barrel shoot straight. It doesn't. But you can't convince SP that the idea is wrong, as it was a standard for their marketing,

Likewise, a man could be born with a uterus and could become pregnant. Just like I have never seen anyone that had a prehensal tail before(seeing it on the X files doesn't count), yet it true. And a man could suffer from Couvade syndrome, which men have sympathetic pregnancy with their partner. I don't need to see them to believe them.

An optimist will see a glass as half full, and a pessimist will see it as half empty. No matter what, if a statement of fact comes from something you don't like or agree with, you seem to call it wrong. With an attitude like that, how could you ever change the channel from fox or is it OAN or Newsmax that fills you with such "hope" and misery?

Here's another anecdote you can chew on. Restless leg syndrome. Sounds totally false. Sounds like a fabricated "illness" for drug seeking behavior. I have this "syndrome" and I need specific types of medications to fix it. That is what I thought 20 years ago, when I first heard about it. Come on, you are asleep, but you physically have your leg moving around, that is not associated with being in a dream state or just "normal" sleeping? Well, I actually saw it, with my own eyes.

Why would I? How will I get to work? Not only does public transportation suck, it doesn't even come close to where I work.

No where has anyone challenged what I have to say. No one tries to engage in a possibly meaningful conversation to dismiss what I have to say with hard, irrefutable facts that destroy my position. No, you follow exactly the same mantra of, don't think for yourself and just do what I say.

That is wrong, that goes against what a democracy is all about. Who would want to listen to anything you have to say when you don't even support what you have to say. And guess what, if you can't back up with what you believe in, why should I or anyone even care to listen to you?

John. I hate to tell you. When you accuse someone and don't back it up or bring evidence to support your claim, it means NOTHING. I stand by what I have to say, unless I am proven wrong. Something that you have not done. Whereas I have proved to everyone, that you are being a hypocrite. Move on boomer, AARP is calling your name.

I cannot help it when you are faced with the facts, literal quotes of what you say showing your hypocrisy and you don't believe it. I know you work with Sprinkler Systems(& probably more), but please either check the batteries or get a new carbon monoxide detector.
