George Carlin was certainly right about politicians. It isn't the politicians who suck, it's the American people who suck. The same people who go on and on about the 2nd amendment couldn't tell you what the 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th amendments..... are.
Well, I see Biden as a bad choice. Not because he is failing at the job, but more that there is no one younger that has stepped up. Surprisingly, he is able to steal the republicans lunch qnd take them to the tool shed, yet it sucks he is as old as he is. So best of option in an adult diaper race.

No, what I find hypocritical is that all the 2A pundents that scream about being infringed, are seemingly quiet when a man was just convicted of exercising his 2A rights. I always thought it was all about the rights, not to whom they are applied too. Good thing Hunter Biden isn't black, or he would be in trouble.

Yeah couldn't be because of the amount of psychopaths who are routinely shooting places up. I'd love to hear your solution to this problem.

This thread is such a mess. Lots of complaining while ignoring the context of reality.

What on earth are you going on about? There was zero mention of feelings anywhere in my post. Your rights do end when they start inflicting damage on people's lives. Clearly you're just being obtuse about reality and saying something stupid. This is exactly why people "are after My GuNs" because of the sheer ignorance to the situation. Same reason your first amendment "RiGhTs" aren't protected if you yell fire in a crowded building.

Clearly you don't have a solution to the problem which is exactly my point. Probably the same kind of person who says "thoughts and prayers" after every mass shooting.

Social security? What are you going on about? Clearly you haven't done the math, because I have zero idea how that applies in the context of psychopaths shooting places up. What math class talks about psychopaths and fire arms? Calculus 3? Differential equations? Non linear algebra? Point me to that mathematical subject since I'm very interested in knowing.

You have a better chance of winning the lottery than losing someone in a mass shooting? What kind of math classes did you take? While the data for mass shootings is a bit all over the place, I know my BS of Electrical Engineering definitely required statistics and you are definitely wrong. Do some actual research, sheesh.

Firearm assaults kill about 13,000 Americans each year. This US death rate is about 11 times as high as all forces of nature combined.

Amid heartbreaking events, we should resist the instinct to terrify ourselves.

You’re hundreds of times more likely to get hit by lightning than to win the lottery, but Davidson College math professor Tim Chartier dares us to dream with some tips for creating your ticket. Learn more.

Odds of dying in a mass shooting: 1 in 11,125 (business insider)
Odds of a child dying in a shooting at school: ~1 in 10 million (city-journal, James Alan Fox, a criminologist at Northeastern University)
Odds of winning the lottery: ~1 in 300 million

The lottery gets pulled once a week.

Figure it out for yourself and learn how statistics work.

They are obsessed with being European inbred aristocracy over being actual Americans because they inherit their degrees and their careers. Zionist agenda from the Ivy league destroyed the paintball industry? What. That is some strange conspiracy stuff you've got going on.

The paintball industry self imploded for a few reasons and probably more. High rates of fire and markers that significantly over power rentals would turn any new player off. Turning the game from pump / shake and bake hoppers and forcing players to buy a case to play when you market the game to teenagers / 20 somethings who are broke. Players needing to spend more and more money on equipment to keep up. Non paintball sponsors started dropping out when they realized there was no market share to be had. Couldn't have been the market slipping and the eventual housing collapse in the 2000s.

Now it is most certainly a good point for me to walk away from this thread.

Convenient to use that wiki article which just happens to start at 4 people:

You can pretty much pick any year and the numbers are going to work out that it is more likely someone will get shot in a mass shooting than win the lottery.

In any regard this is still completely ignoring any shopping malls, concerts, bars, stores / whatever places shootings have taken places. Like I said you have no solution to the problem which I'm not surprised by.

The lotto gets pull every week... so what. That doesn't really have much effect on your chances. https://fortune.com/2024/03/25/mega-...owerball-odds/
