thats what makes those quest items so expensive. me and my friend looted 2 shields that are worth 500pp. what is you currency? our lowest is in copper then 10 copper =1 silver=10 silver=1 gold=10 gold=1 platinum those are all pieces so copper is cp silver is sp gold is gp and platinum is pp. everything that is nice for like a lvl 40 or up cost about 500pp,and a nice weapon is about 2kpp(2,000pp) and i have yet to make that much and im a lvl 22 and the life timer on my guy i think is a week(if i had played a week straight and no sleep)

and horses they just added are ways to get around quicker and the least expensive is 11kpp and the most is 113kpp( holy crispy jebus i wish i had that)

              Hemlock86: What server you play?

I used to play in Midgard too. I was a Kobald Warrior (yaya i know not a good choice). I tell ya, my character sucked! I stopped playing about 3 months ago but for some reason my credit card kept getting charged even though i signed up for only ONE month three months ago.

              It was very time consuming.

From my experience (57 monk & 59 druid Tarew Marr) EQ is a fun game but incredibly addicting. Gaining levels runs by quickly early on but gets progressively longer as you approach the higher levels. If your a casual gamer (an hour or two a nite) I wouldn't suggest EQ. If your willing to spend a lot of time by immersing into the EQ world of interacting with other online to gaining levels, skills/spells, armour/weapons, fighting a lot of different monsters, and exploring new dungeons/zones by all means try it.

i'm glad that someone brought this up because I have a couple questions.

Do have to pay for Everquest, or is free?

                            How addicting is this game?

I agree with ya there. To do the fun stuff or to accomplish something note wory you will be spending hours and possibly days at a time in front of your pc. *You have been Warned*
