I also broke my arm pretty bad awhile back. And O man the X rays where not pretty. well what I did was I basically shatered my arm.

I'm aggressive inline... I broke my hand in 6 different places in one fall! (i'm that good.)

hahaha i broke my arm goin off a huge jump on my 4 wheeler on a sportutility vehicle broke it in 2 spots and my arm is still a little crooked today have funn with that cast lol it will start to smell horrid spray some rubbin alcohal on there

Don't forget about the uncontrollable "Itch" associated with having a cast for an extended period of time.

that really sux man, i also skate quite a bit and just over a year ago i almot broke my ankle and it was messed up for a long time. i just started skating hard again like 4 months ago, so iwish u a fast recovery. also my little brother ripped his acl and a bunch of other stuff in his knee bmxing so he also knows wehat your going through, he just recently started riding again. oh well good luck.

Well, i went into surgery yesterday and also got my cast on. They put me to sleep I think for about half an hour, and they weren't sure if they were going to have to cut me open and put pins in. So when I woke up I was all messed up, but i heard the nurse say that all they did was reduce it with out opening up my arm, and they didn't have to put any pins in!! So all is well now, except I have a cast that goes above my elbow so I can't skate for a while but thats alright. thanks for the support guys!

Well how you broke ur arm is somewhat similar to the way I broke mine. I was just causually bladeing around this corner and I hit some oil, which caused me to slip on my blades. I wasent wearing my wristguards and I tried to catch my self by putting my arm down to stop the fall (bad mistake). Well when I did that I locked my elbow and my weight caused both of the bones in my left forarm to pretty much snap in half and come out from the under side of my arm, I found this out when I looked at my arm and it was shaped like an S then I rolled it over and was stareing at my bones through my arm..

My arm was numb and the bad thing was this was in the summer so no one was home. So I had to rollerblade across the base (im a Air Force Brat) to get to the hospital . Well now I have a scar underneath my arm where the bone came out and metal plates and I think 14 screws surrounding my left forearm. Funny thing is the day before I broke my arm I was saying how lucky I am for my lack of serious injurys. Go fig a year later on the same day I broke my left foot dirtbiking, and then like 2 months ago I sliced my knee open with a chainsaw.. Well Ill be jetting already wrote to much.

Thats some bad luck man! sucks! It's kind of funny cause just a week before I did it two of my buddies(who both skate) were talking about how sooner or later one of us was bound to break something! I guess I was just the unfortunate one!

BTW: Unknown to me, my friend captured the whole thing on tape! So by the weekend i'll have yet another sequence to show my nifty little break!
