    when are the new RX-8's coming out bet they wouldbe fast but if i had 30k id spend it on a Trans-Am Ram-Air with WS-6 package but that jus me

        I love my WRX. 23K, 225 HP, not flashy looking, AWD, and very fast. I like it over the camaro because it handles great with no modifications. All of the camaros/trans-ams I have been in do not corner well. Not a flame, but to me, handling is at least as important as acceleration.

            Does your car have a spoiler on it? If not, your statment holds water. Is it just me, or does the WRX spoiler look extremely ricy/cheesy?

            So the last F body you're driven was older than 95 with high miles? I test drove an LS1 powered 99' Firebird the other day with my brother, and it's handling is on par with my friend's WRX (heh, he doesn't have a spoiler as he think they look goofy as well). Handling is great, but that's just the slower guy's excuse for losing a stop-light race. Many defeated ricers have told me "Your car might be fast, but at least I can handle a .8g turn!" Joke's on them, my car in it's stock form can handle a .79g turn....
