That's all of the fish so far and pretty much how it will remain for a while until it all settles down ecologically etc.

      Great job Manike!

It is a lot of work to maintain the eco balance. Which is kind of funny when you can just find fish swimming in any dirty pond

Usually the fish probably won't out grow there surroundings, if they stay in a certain place for a while they stop growing after a point.

I tested that theory with a red tail shark...type of fishtank fish. I had crawdads in the tank and they are aggresive so I didn't want to put the fish in. So I put a small frye net on the side of the tank. Usually this fish grows to be 3 to 4 inches. He is still small about 2 inches and never grew past that.

I always wanted a pond in my backyard, I am buying my first home by the end of the month that has a small brook going through it.

We plan on extending the house, I'll have to post pics of what I am going to do to my bedroom. I used to be a mural artist that painted in peoples houses for a living. Now I have my own canvas!

I plan on turning it into a outdoor rock garden. The walls painted to look like stone walls, the ceiling to mirror the sky, I want to put a small water fountain in it.

Ah well enough about that...good job!

        That sounds great!

My dream house will have a stream going through it that I can tap to make a mini lake

When do you find time to do all of this??

I mean with milling the markers and all??

With making the grips and emailing everyone and taking care of the kids I am lucky to get 2 minutes to myself.

I work about 16-18 hours a day on 'real work' and on paintball related stuff...

I do not have enough time in all honesty and some things (social life) have taken quite a knock lately. (I'm not married with kids or anything).

But I love what I am doing and would rather be busy than bored. I just wish I could have 48 hour days

                Hehehe...

cphilip sits in his rocking chair up on the deck sipping a cold one looking out over this 2 acre pond stocked with Bluegill, Bass and Catfish feed by mountain streams and wonders to himself "wonder what Manike is doing?"

Nice Phil, real nice... do the fish come and eat from your hand? and can you watch them in the crystal clear water also?

2 acre 'ponds' here would be worth too much in land

If my dreams come true I will buy a retirement place in Cali, close to the coast and the mountains!

When can I come and visit?
