Hey, I like the Naboo starfighter. I just think it's outclassed by the formidable Tie Defender. The droid starfighters were also cool, but a squadron of them would be cut in half by the V wing's cluster missles.

You missed quite a few :) This list here isn't totally comprehensive, but it covers a lot more ground. It's missing a few oddballs like Charon Organic Starfighters, Ssi-Ruuk Fighter Drones, etc.

In that case, there's another ommision on the list. It's the Tweilek Death Seed. Technically, it's an uglie, but I think it deserves mentioning.

I also noticed that you put the Recon X wing on there. You do know the snoopscoot has no weapons at all, right?

That's from the RPG stats for the Recon X-Wing. It loses the torpedo launchers, but it keeps the lasers. The guns are a little weaker than a normal X-Wings, but not by much. And the self-destruct mechanism is cool :)

Hmm, in the book Isard's Revenge, they said that the laser recharge coils leaked enough energy to mess up the readings on the sensor pods. Oh, well.

The Tie Bomber? A dupe could be vaped by a Headhunter without too much work. I admit they can pour on the destruction, but they're too slow, no shields, no hyperdrive, and they're a lot bigger than any other Tie. I say, give me a trip (Tie Defender) anyday.

sorry... but the Vong ships rocked (no really they did), but the first book with the Vong was the worst star wars book ever written...

if i had to choose between killing Luke, Han, and Chewie,
Luke would go first, then Han, then Chewie....

Wedge Antilles is the best pilot in star wars... (X-wing please) he beats the crap out of everyone and doesn't have to use the force like Luke.... Corran Horn is a sweet character, he wasn't a Jedi when he took the Rogues against Isard on Thyferra.... so he counts as a real man, not some pansy like Obi Wan or Luke....

and no, the recon X-Wing has no weapons, the RPG is from Wizards of the Coast right? the same people who brought us the Pokemon CCG???--lets all listen to what they say..

Slave I is not a fighter, it's got a cargo bay and it's twice the size of anything else that is a fighter.

X-wing, best fighter, why would the Rogues fly it if it wasn't the best... not to mention Wraith squadron before they started flying half Interceptors....

EnderWigginPballin, if you had to pick, which squadron would you go with? I'd have to go with Wraith Squadron, because they may not be quite as good of pilots as Rogue Suadron, but they really took it to Iron Fist and Razor's Kiss.
