Who has the worst job

Mykroft, my civvie job is quite similar to yours. I am a supervisor for a corporate alarm monitoring company. I do tech support for them. Only I work overnight. So, coupled with CEO's or their lackies who are angry at a field tech that cant figure out the problem, its is well past midnight and I am the only other person for them to "talk" to. Of course, after them venting on me, I gotta be nice. It's just a really good thing we dont have officecams...
But, my civvie job isnt too bad. Now what I am doing for the military...well, lets say I now have a whole new respect for police officers.

One GOOD thing about my job is driving a fork lift! I do burnouts in it and get it up on 3 wheels! Vrooom!

I unlike most people went and got my lifeguard, cpr, and wsi certifications to become a lifeguard. The classes suck but I get payed well. Also I get to sit in the sun and swim whenever I want. Don't you guys wish you would have become a swimmer in highschool instead of playing football?

i work at a church. i know i know. im not the type of person that you would would work at one either. i do graphic design (print and computer), and i do video (editing and shooting stuff). and i am still learning stuff. so basically i get paid to learn some stuff and sit on my duff all day. so i dont think it is too bad.

I work for Office Depot selling technology related goodies...get nice perks..free software from Micro$oft and Corel...got a Palm m505 last year free...but..i've got my A+, working on my N+ and my MCSE and trying to find work in California is a beast...ever since all these tech companies imploded they've been asking 3-5 years experience for an entry level position..oh well..at least i have benefits and vacation/sick time...

I work in a factory. A very hot factory. I make paper tubes. If you're staring at a roll of duct tape and see that little paper ring in the middle...i made that. So think of me :)

I do that all bloody day. Working with total idiots. Rotating 8 hour shifts. Going to work at 3pm on a Friday and working till 11pm isn't very fun.

Tech Support sucks, I did it for a month, and then I never went back.

My old job was rough, back when I was in high school I did a summer working with Public Works, in the Roads Department.

It wasn't all bad, but when its 95 degrees out, and you paying patches of 400* asphalt, the air temperature is suddenly like 120*+ and everything stinks like asphalt.

Or, before you laid the asphalt, you had the use the jackhammer. I don't know why anyone thinks these things are cool. They are heavy, and they make your entire body numb. Not to mention that the compressor blasts out air full of pneumatic tool oil stench. If you know what pneumatic tool oil smells like, imagine a nice cloud of that stink all around where you are working.

But at the end of the day you had to use diesel fuel and a propane torch to burn all the asphalt off the tools, thats was always fun Except that one time the Parks department poured diesel fuel all over where we cleaned to tools as a joke and a good portion of hte parking lot ended up on fire.

BUT, that being said, I think the slaughterhouse job is the worst. It gets my vote, at least :)

I think working on a dairy farm is the worst. I worked on one during my high school years. My parents didn't call my boots poop-kickers for nothing.

i tihnk dark ore has it pretty bad. he has little stickers taht he puts on boxes. for each one he gets 3 cents. now it doesn't sound bad but from what i am told these stickers ARE SMALL.

but his job paid off cause now he has a 2k lcd angel and his bro gotsa micro e-mag.

but back on topic i think the worst job is being a postitute i mean its not a real job it would have to suck if thats how you made your living its ilegal you could STDs real easy etc etc etc just think about all the bad things

I'm interning now, I got the job to come in, automate people's jobs, then they fire the people who used to do those jobs. It's a rewarding job, I see so many angry faces leave, and I never have to talk to them again =)

My friend works at McDonalds, i do think that is the worst possible job anyone could have.

I'm a UPS guy sucky hrs 2am to 8am. Work in a wharehouse hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Ah but it aint that bad.

The worst job I ever heard of was the people that go around and clean up after dead bodies. I mean after the cops leave and the coroner get there info these guys have to clean up the mess. Just think about it suicides, rotten bodies that have been sittin around for weeks. I think those guys have it bad.
