What did I do?
Hmmm, I doubt this is worth getting dragged into, but since I've already been singled out, I guess I can't stand it - I have to say something.
So, OK, I push the edge around here sometimes, that's true. And I've even offended a couple of people. But you have to realize, I try to gauge my posts to the person I'm "talking" to, and yeah sometimes I try to see how far I can push it without going over. And I HAVE gone over. The difference is, every time that I've offended anyone and it has been pointed out, I have worked hard to make amends - removed the post even if I disagree that its offensive, and both public and private appologies. I think most of the folks who have been in that situation with me have come away feeling reasonably good about the exchange, and most of us now consider each other friends. I've been warned once or twice, but I've never been banned, and when warned I've modified my behavior.
Of course, as a member of the adult profession I SHOULD be setting a better example for you. Not pushing the limits. So I guess it's MY fault Patriot went over the edge - he was just trying to be like me. Now I know how Ozzy Osborne and Eminem feel! So I'm sorry, Partiot, I should have let you know that when you play the "bad boy" you have to also know how to repent for your sins, and make amends and smooth things over. If all you do is piss people off, in the end you get banned.
So, Phil, its not really Patriot's fault - its at least partly mine - so maybe you should give him ONE more chance and ban me for 3 days for my part in this. What do you think?
How about the rest of you? Should I take some of the blame for this? Should I stop being the FatMan because I'm setting a bad example? Go ahead, give it to me straight! I can take it!
