Nose guns
(bottom is called the "chin turret", the one out the side is the Bombardier's .30 caliber. it can be pulled from there, and stuck back out the other side.)

Belly gun. (Ball turret, home of the smallest guy in the crew. See the drawing inside for how he fit. He climbed in after the ship gained altitude, and stayed there until the plane reached the English shoreline, sometimes for 9 hours)Last edited by Army; 08-26-2002, 09:09 PM.Comment

Man, looking at this up close makes you realise what our boys had to indure plus they did not know if they were going to come back.
I only got a little bit of the story on this but right after the war a guy(forgot his name) bought this for $750.00
and then sold the gas that was in it for $750.00 came out even Wish I had one...
