Synreal what kind of file do you save your work as? Whenever I save mine, after about 2 posts on AO I get the little box with a red X in it.

My working files are .psd (Photoshop files) that live on my harddrive

The end product is a .gif (Compuserve GIF) that is hosted on my web server.

The little red box means that your image can not be found in the location that you specified (ie; the file was moved, the thread you attached it in was deleted, the host server is down, ...)

Also how do I make the backround of the pic I attached below blend into the 2 diffrent colors that AO has for a backround?

He already gave a lesson in this thread.. with pictures. Same basic steps with any other good editing software (or other versions).

That is wierd. I did have to delete the first posting I did of this new sig because it wasn't right. I was building it in Photoshop 5 on a Mac utilizing 768 x 1024 resolution. So, between the screen size being bigger and the transparent image exporter of PS5 it was all grainy. I brought it home to my Mac with Photoshop 6 and voila! It was up and lookin' smooth in like two minutes. Amazing the difference a newer verion of program makes. I got some very useful tips from syn on how to get rid of the background and let it stand alone. That first post I deleted must have been what notified you...sorry 'bout that!

You are just way too talented. Marek's is wicked cool. I think that your style is really sweet. SHartley has his own style which is neat, but I definitly like the darker feel of your designs!

i've been staring at this monitor too long, and don't know if i like how they turned out. lemme know what you think.
