I'm glad you know what you're doing though.

I just hate new age upgrading. All you do is get a chip, an exhaust and intake, and the occasional turbo. Whatever happened to boring out ports, polishing everything you could, and a nice set of headers? I like cars that get 6-9mpg. :)
hmmm... 500hp in a supra... supra is a FR car fyi. 500hp front wheel drive car... i should try that someday for a laugh... Actually, a lot of people just don't port, polish, or customize to that extent anymore because they're lazy. I've seen numerous people do it though. Anyways, a lot of people just bolt on and replace absolutely everything on their engine from intake to exausts and everything inbetween if they're real speed nuts...

I have a 2002 Monte Carlo SS Pace Car Replica and was wondering how I could get more horsepower out of it. Someone said that this would fit it but was looking for other ideas (http://www.zzperformance.com/zzp/pro...3800BaseSC.htm) Also anyone know how large of tires can go on it? Thanks for the help.

            I got an integra...

I decided to not go with the prelude, its easier to make the integra faster, lower insurance, and not as "sporty" looking, and living in a neighborhood like mine just calls for theft/vandalizm.

well, I just realized that, I'm not making a super crazy 20 pounds of boost street car.

I have a simple goal of 220-240 wheel horsepower, I don't know why I'm so worried.

I should just get a block guard, that would probably be strong enough, huh?

I'm just really worried about things breaking, even though I will probably never go past 7 pounds of boost (especially on 10:1 or 10.5:1 pistons, whichever route I go)

hey, does anyone know what it means to get your rods "shot-peened" ? just wondering.

and for anyone who wants to see some cool gadgets for your cars (sadly, built by japanese companies, for japanese automobiles) you can go to www.takakaira.com, one thing I found interesting was formula's semi-sequential shifter, and ESPECIALLY 5-zigens twin-mode clutch system, which pretty much gives you that hydraulic clutch activated BMW shifting (whatever it was called on the beemers)

Kinda like how people no longer polish their own cocker sear or mill out the VA on their spyders. They just go buy a predone one and bolt it on. Thats why it's so hard to find a good mechanic these days. No one will fix a carburator, they just say to buy a new EFI system or find a new one. Lazy mechanic.

                        Daylight,

I prefer the best of both worlds with my decently fast *V8* truck :)

I dunno why all these young bucks like to argue against v8's. If you're going for straight up performance, why bother worrying about fuel mileage? And Is it really that cool to have a big fart under your hood?
