I hate gamecube, but i cant wait till Metroid Prime comes out, I hated the original, but this one looks good...But not as good as HALO 2

I rented it, its...different.
It's very involved, and you get to write letters to other people who live in the town. I wrote a letter to one of the charecters asking them when they want to shag, she told me never to write to her again! LOL

Hey, it's a strange game. No one's denying that... But it's fun... and addictive.

Metroid Prime is on my to-buy list too, don't worry about that. But how can you say you didn't like the original?

I love gamecube... It might be the "gayest, lamest" system on the market...but it is highly addictive.

i dunno, xbox games just get boring to me, and all of my friends that have them. But gamecube games..the good ones...classic. Supersmash bros melee...i will be playing that game 2-3 years from now. its classic fun. hell, i was still play the original before GCN came out and the new melee came out!

Right now i only have SSBM and mario sunshine (also very gay and lame, but fun and addictive). These two are probably the best out right now..but starfox comes out next monday and that will be awesome to.

Right now i would have to say if you own a gamecube you need these games and these games only:

- Super Smash Bros. Melee
- Super Mario Sunshine
- Madden 2002
- Fifa 02 or Fifa World Cup 02 (i like WC better, but practically same thing)
(insert monkey ball here if you want..but im waiting for mario party 4..will be much better)
- Star Fox - Dinosaur Adventures --when it comes out next mon
- Mario Party 4 --when it comes out in november
- Metroid Prime --when it comes out in november
- 1080* Snowboard 2 --when it comes out in february

and of course Zelda when it comes out.....next spring lol..long wait

But these dozen games or so are classic, and they will last a lot longer than xbox games IMO. Halo is already boring as hell (yes even multiplayer).. But i've played atleast 1000+ hours of smash bros and i could still play 10 hours straight with my friends...classic

Either you aren't good at Halo, or your opponents aren't good enough to challenge you. A few of my friends are at a similar skill level to me, and it never gets old battling it out with them, testing your skill and strategy against theirs. Hopefully Metroid Prime can pull the GameCube out of its "lame and kiddy" perspective from Xbox and PS2 owners, but I'll never buy a GameCube after seeing how Shigeru Miyamoto mutilated the new Zelda...

I liked Rogue Squadron on the 'cube... but I'll be getting a PS2 or Xbox for my next gaming system... not enough sustainability in the 'Cube...

sorry to say it, but Nintendo is heading down the tube.... (I'm a hardcore Nintendo fan, ever since Mario Bros 1)

Ok, you haven't played the game. So you're going on screenshots and a few videos.

So, simply based on the appearance of the game you're writing off the system...

LoZ:ALttP (Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past) was, and many people will agree by far the best game in the series thus far and It had a "cartoony feel" to it as well.

Cell shading is in as a form of electronic gaming. There are plenty of games on the amrket right now, or coming to the market very shortly that will be cel shaded. Yes, this includes both the Xbox and PS2.

When these games come out are you going to sell your PS2 because of how they butchered the game?

Can you please give some examples of games that are cel-shaded that are coming to Xbox and PS2 besides XIII? I've got nothing against cel-shading, you can use cel-shading and still have an awesome looking game, and the new zelda fails to do this in my opinion. I actually intend on buying XIII, a cel-shaded shooter that is coming out for Xbox and PS2 next year. And don't even try to bring Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past into this, it was a great game and made the best use of its graphics at the time (please, it was on a 16-bit system).

You, sir, are an idiot. The game uses "cartoonish" graphics in order to allow for more character emotion, and the game moves and flows with incredible fluidity. No one who has actually seen or played the game has ever said anything bad about the game.

Anyone who bashes games on any console because they are too kiddie are not worthy of playing any video games. I find this funny, coming from people who use paintball guns that value funcionality over form. You (well not perhaps you, since I don't know you) scoff at people who spend large amounts of money just to make their gun look better.
