well...

You did state "She knew and even asked my Mom if she had heard from me!". She might have been asking if you had confirmed you plans. For whatever reason your mom told her no, so she asked her for that time.

Sounds like a miscommunication issue, not something she did intentionally to screw up your plans.

Just my opinion...

Thanks for the idea CPhillip, but she wants the beach and a tropical drink in her hand at an all inclusive resort.

My Sister-In-Law was trying to beat me to my Mom. It was not a miscommunication. My mother, God bless her has a poor memory, so I reminded her over Labor Day at the beach house. While in OC, I told my brother and sister-in-hell that everything was lined up. No, that cold hearted @itch got to my Mom and tricked her. I can't ask my brother to cancel as he has paid, and all I did was put down a deposit.

It was intentional.

I did mention that she was Satan.

I wonder what it is about sister and laws... but I got a real gargole of a sister n law too. My folks are getting to that age where a will is a big deal and they had asked use to list stuff that we wanted.... obviously things that have sentimental value. My brother hasn't been married but just overa year so there is little to nothing that she can call sentimental. But she made up the list of my brother and oddly enough it only had valuable stuff on it, like diamondrings, antiques etc. Coincidence? NOt if you know my sister n law.

Then I was going to hook my brother up with a warp feed for his gun. 50$ is a more then fair price and she just about threw him outta the house..because they are broke. the very next day I go over to visit and she waves a brand new 500 optical camera that even makes coffee that she bought for a photo class at school. Which isn't os bad, but it's not related to her nursing program and it's 3 months long. I thing that's WAAAAAAAAY to much to spend on an optical camera. Digital, maybe, but not optical and not for a toy that's going t o be used for 3 months.

My sister n law is also tring to get my parents to kick my outta the house I'm renting from them so they can move outa their crapy apartment and have a yard for the dog they bought a few months ago.

You think you're sister n law is bad? MY life is a fight for anything that's dear to me since my brother got married.

That my Friend sounds like Kiawa Island or Hilton Head Island...Covered up in exclusive resorts on the beach...No too far from here...

I can personally vouch for Kiawah Island. I've been there 2 summers running. It is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!! Quiet. 10 Miles of private beach.

I go to Hilton Head all the time. My Aunt lives on the island. Maybe I can do it.... After all it is a suprise and my wife is comletely unaware of all this. (Good thing to as she HATES my S-I-L. ).

I feel for you bro. I am in a little better situation. My folks are pretty well off. They have a couple of beach houses in OC, a corvette collection, etc... However, I am the executor in the will! Problem is I can't screw her without hurting my bro or my God-Daughter (It is hard to believe that something so beautiful could have come from something so evil).

Thanks to all for letting me blow off some steam instead of her head!!!!!!!
