BTW: just did some minor "mods" to the SS today, TPIS throttle body airfoil, reprogrammed the ECU with a Hypertech module and put the CAGS skip shift eliminator on the tranny. Coming in the mail are a Corsa exhaust and 4 new tires (Goodrich g-Force).

There are way to many morons on the roads today for sure. These Rice Racers that put the erector set looking wings on the back of their cars make me roll wit laughter. I am not perfect and like to speed as much as the next guy, only I do it when No One else is around. I won't race as I feel that I have way too much to lose.

What is the fastest you have ever taken your pony car to?

I pushed my little BMW 325 to 115 MPH on I-95 in Maryland on the way home from the Monday Night Football game where my Redskins were trashed by the Eagles . It was on an empty road at 2:00AM.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm only 18, and I've never liked the Attitude that seems to come along with "Ricers" and the whole racing scene.

It seems like it's all a huge pissing-contest, for bragging rights.

Yeah, I can see, and HAVE seen personally, how driving fast can be a rush, but doing stuff like SHartly Described, and toasting your engine just to show off to your girlfriend is a bit immature, and IMO, just plain stupid. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't girls impressed by Maturity?

...not to mention how dangerous it can be. The #1 Cause of teenage deaths in the US is Automobile-related.

It's Too damn easy to get a drivers liscence in this country. Hell, I personally feel I should have FAILED my driving test, but i passed with an 86%.

too bad there's no way to test for maturity/good decision making/ethics when you're getting a Driver's Liscence.
