Dude, I would ask outside of school in person. I mean, I tried to meet w/ the girl just to hang out and ask her to homecoming... too bad her friend had to hook her up the same day... lol, now she isn't going to homecoming so we (all my friends) can hang and do stuff... lol

I say go for it...never assume things either. If you're that tight with her and communicate well, there shouldn't be anything you couldn't ask her. Believe me, spending hours upon hours wondering isn't going to help any. Best thing to do is to face your fears and ask.

Remember, be confident...but not arrogant. Be yourself and don't try to impress too much. Afterall, she knows you and would probably get turned off if she found out you're trying to be someone you're not.

There's much to be said about a good friendship. Sometimes, the hottest looking girl will look towards a guy's personality rather than looks. And if you can make her laugh, that's an even bigger plus.

Here's what you do.. next time you see her.. take a deep breath, don't think about anything. Calmly walk up to her. Start conversation, ask her about the dance, be like "Hey, you know the dance thats comin up right? You want to go with me? I'd really like to take you. It'll be fun I promise." and if that doesn't work.. stalk her.. worked for me LOL just kidding bout the stalking thing.. had to make you laugh.

But on a more serious note, as it's been said before.. be mature about it. Be a MAN about it. If anything, and if she says no.. don't sweat it mang, it's her loss. One day, you'll find that one, that makes you feel all tingly inside, the one that is like your other half. Things will click. Trust me, I used to be the dork no body wanted to date/dance with. Now...I have a wonderful, beautiful girlfriend who would give the world for me.

Just remember, you're young, have a lot of years left in front of you. Right now, it's your time to have fun! Not to worry about "She doesn't like me.. OMG, the world is going to end now" Trust me, the sun will rise the next day. It always has.. and always will. BTW, make sure you're wearing clean undies.. hehe (laughin?)
