ok. i have been trying to play dvd's( i do have a dvd drive) and it wont work. when i try to play the dvd it gives me this notice: Playback failed due to a problem with the video subsystem. Lowering your screen resolution or color depth may fix the problem. could anybody help me?

THen do what it says and lower the screen resolution or the color in properties

i adjusted the color and screen stuff to the suggested area. then i restarted my computer. it still didnt work. then i went to their site and did all the steps. it still didnt work. now i'm out of ideas. by the ways i am using interactual player.[*img]http://www.browndotdesign.com/Xodus/AO/YeahThatsMe.jpg[/img]

Try InterVideo WinDVD. I had problems using interactual player. You can get it at www.intervideo.com. You can also check out www.download.com for some freeware. Just search for DVD.Comment
