    computer problems. need help!!!

ok. i have been trying to play dvd's( i do have a dvd drive) and it wont work. when i try to play the dvd it gives me this notice: Playback failed due to a problem with the video subsystem. Lowering your screen resolution or color depth may fix the problem. could anybody help me?

Try InterVideo WinDVD. I had problems using interactual player. You can get it at www.intervideo.com. You can also check out www.download.com for some freeware. Just search for DVD.
