    paranormal activities in my house

ok, my house is haunted, anybody else have this problem? i was watching tv and a picture went flying off of my wall across the room. the other night i woke up and looked over and seen a figure standing in my room, i sat up and turned on my lamp and looked over and seen the face of an old man and it faded away. does anybody else have anything like this go on in there house? it is driving me crazy.

I'd say lay off the LSD and you hope you stop having flash backs...

seriously - if it is a ghost, can I come over and spend the night there sometime? I am such a non-believer when it comes to paranormal. I think it COULD happen, but I just have no reason to think that it DOES...

Ive experienced paranormal activity quite a bit. The 8th/9th floors here in my dorm at kstate are well known to be haunted. Im on the 9th floor this year, and Ive gotten so used to it Im hardly phased anymore.

The temperature in our room drops by 20 degree in minutes, we bought a barometric pressure meter so we could visually watch the air pressure in our room raise and fall dramatically. At night you hear windows open and shut, and the occasionally loud thumps that shake the entire floor and cause power to flicker (yet the people below us hear nothing).
I avoid the stairwell like its the plauge. You can open the door and walk down a flight sometimes, and then you hear the door open again behind you and hear footsteps coming down. But no matter how long you wait, no one ever appears.
In the bathrooms, I avoid the place at night. Often times people report going in at 3am when they are completely alone, and soon after they have company in the form of an invisible ghost. Faucets turn on, shower curtains slide, and lights flicker.

Supposedly over the last 10 years, there have been several suicides from these two floors. I only know for sure of 2 accounts.

Im not really that spooked, but alot of people have moved out already.

Im a believer, oh and webby. Kstate isnt that far from KC, you're welcome to come crash and experience this if you really want to. Although I must say, its something that hangs onto you forever.

I took it to a local "cocker expert and it worked ok until I got it home. Needless to say I have never had the urge to throw something off a cliff more." - Load SM5 on owning an Autococker

i dont believe in ghosts and eyewitness testimony is incredibly inacurate. for example i watched 2 kids break into a car (didnt take or damage anything), 10 minutes later when the cops came i could hardly remember that one had a hooded sweatshirt on.

i guess its one of those things i will only believe after ive seen it, then seen it again, then examined all possible explainations, then researched it for a very long time.

certainly not a flame towards anyone who thinkd they have seen something unexplained.

A few of us will go ghost hunting around halloween each year. And one of my friends goes to Gettysburg every year to look for them, he says he's seen things, so I'm working on getting out there one day.
The only thing that I've had happen is when I lived in the very upstairs of my fraternity house. The radio used to do weird stuff. If the radio was completely turned off, you could be sitting there and all of a sudden it would start playing, get extrememly loud, then stop completely. Never happened when more than one person was in the room. My roommate asked me one day if this had happened, of course it had happened to me before, but I just thought it was my imagination untill he said something.

                majordamage,
Spaceghost does rule. I finally found the costume too.

I'm with Webbie. You need a doctor, not a paranormal expert.

                      I'm a believer

A friend of my family's is haunted. Every evening around 6:00 you can hear footsetps come up the stairs from the basement. You could almost set your clock by it. It's so weird looking down the steps and seeing nothing, but hearing the sound of footsteps. The opposite happens every morning, I can't remember at what time though. You hear footsteps going back down the stairs.

It has been known to open and shut doors in their house. It even tried to do some redecorating one time while I was there. They have a mirror over their fireplace that is divided off into tile-like sections. Two tiles in the bottom right corner were taken off of the wall and laid on the floor next to each other like they were on the wall while everyone was in the kitchen for dinner. They couldn't have just fallen, their fireplace has brick sticking out from the wall about 3 feet.

They have never seen anything, they just have evidence of things that have happened. Having seen and heard it myself, I have no doubt about that these kinds of thigns happen.

wow with stories like that why are there even non-believers like me? oh yeah. complete lack of any real evidence. and im not talking about something that showed up on the Discovery channel.

like i said before, not an intentional flame but i just dont believe you.

I really can't blame you for not believing me. My question is, what do you consider "real evidence".
