Wow these stories are cool. . .
I got a personal story but it was when i was around 10 years old so it might not be credible. Anyways I was in the living room watching tv and my grandma was walking around the house doin laundry and stuff; cleaning things. I looked through the doorway of my mom's room (which was next to the living room) and called to my grandma. She looked like she had her arms up folding a long white terry cloth or table cloth and I couldn't see her face. I walked in calling "grandma grandma" and when I walked into the room I think either I walked right threw that thing or it disappeared. Thats when i freaked out and ran around the house screaming for my grandma. She heard me and ran upstairs from the backyard. She was in the back yard taking clothes off the clothes line. I knew I saw something but I just don't know what. I really thought it was my grandma folding a long white cloth of somesort like my bed covers or the kitchen table cloth. My mom's room is dark cuz the drapes were closed. The only light into the room is the light from the doorway that i walked through. One other time the tv turned off by itself when i closed my eyes, watching tv in the dark at ~2:00 am, and then turned back on when I stood up but that could be anything like the neighbors remote control. . .
Dang it I'd wish they'd would allow me to play paintball SF's Golden Gate park!!!

"real evidence" is certainly anything that can make it through the scientific process. the problem of course with ghosts, aliens, religous miracles, etc is that they:
1: never happen in front of credible researchers or recording equipement
      2: are not repeatable

therefore if i am to accept that those things do exist on earth i can only take either someone else's flawed perception of the events as fact, or take my own flawed perception of events as fact.

im not willing to stand behind either.

well once, while in my room i just started hearing this really loud thumping comin from the attic which didnt bother me much but my friends girlfriend has these pictures of a mirror in their house and in the mirrir is like this smoky image of a person and another one of their face and its not like you can make it out to be a face if you try really hard like i expected, it actually looks like a face in their mirror. and the weird thing is it looks exactly like her grandfather

so the picture went off the TV screen on the wall and moving accorss?

I am very much of a believer in this tyep of things but i have not expirienced any, and i really hope that i don't because i would be scared as crap, but maybe it would be cool to watch a home filmed video.

            Hey Keebler,
I got an idea. Why don't you try to tape it. Before you go to sleep turn on a vidcam facing somewhere in your room cover the lights on the cam, so you can sleep, and just leave it on all night or until it runs out of tape that would be cool. Maybe you can catch something on tape at least you should be able to catch stuff flying off the wall. Just a thought. . . . .

the magic of things that "cant be explained by science" is that they cant be captured on camera.

I don't need hard scientific evidence before I believe. I'll take an eyewitness acount from James Randi.

ok, i submited this at scool. here is the deal, a week ago i was watching a tv show and i heared what sounded like something bumping the wall realy fast. i looked and seen the picture shaking back and forfth realy fast. then it like flew off of the wall and landed like 12 foot away. the washing machine wasn't on or anything to shake the wall to make it fall. i picked up the pictre to look at the back and the nail in the wall that was holding it in was still in the wall, and the back of the picture was torn like it was ripped off. explain that.

my friend at school had his sony camera sitting on his night stand, it was off. and one night. The camera kicked on and it showed him sleeping with the light from the hallway coming into the room.<he had his door closed. and you could hear footsteps, when he woke up the next morning he noticed the red light on it was on so he re-winded it and thats how he found out. i've never personally seen a ghost, except for the aliens that abducted me.J/K.

P.S. On halloween i'm gonna sit in a dark room starting at midnight, and watch scary movies until the morning.

I'd soil myself if I saw a ghost. I don't believe in them.
