AO Counter-Strike players

A former member of AO, ThePatriot contacted me, telling me he had been viewing the forums. He saw I had a rather modest following of CS players on AO and has recently (coincidentally) bought a 20 person private server for his CS clan. He is allowing AO to play on it and use it and stuff, the IP and pass will be posted tomorrow, if anyone would like to play or make some map requests or whatnot, please put them in this thread.

well rat maps are good...and also aim maps such as:

de_rats
de_rats_2001
de_rats2
de_mice2
cs_mice_final

aim_map
aim_ak_colt
aim_sig_aug

put all the regular maps on it such as dust,d2,aztec,assault, and throw in a couple of the fun ones like aim_maps and iceworlds :).... looks like i'm gunna have to go to the frankenstein server :) w00t c ya guyz there :)

i forget the name of it, but its a knife only map. i played it in a 32 person server with low grav and it was the most fun on cs ive ever had!

Frankenstein plays the following custom maps, in addition to the standards such as Aztec, Dust, etc.

as_highrise, as_specailist, as_tigris, cs_assault2k, cs_bigwong, cs_church, cs_ciudad, cs_rio, cs_robbery, cs_sokak, cs_tibet, cs_winternights, de_dawn, de_deep6, de_heat, de_karachi, de_museum, de_tombraid, de_troy, de_village

I usually play for at least an hour every day, after I get home from work.

I don't think I'll be playing on ThePatriots server since I like Frankenstein due to the teamwork and players that are regulars there. Plus too may custom maps gets annoying, I like around a 60/40 mix at most of stock to custom. If I don't get to play train and italy I get grumpy :)


And lilfro, when you shoot your own teammate coming around the corner, let go of the trigger when you realize he's on your team :)

How do I get on the Frankenstein server? I put in the IP int the add server box but I cant find it. Any help?

Did you remember to use the port?

make sure you type that exactly, and it should work fine.

You are going through Internet games, not Lan games, right?

I say you scrap the whole CS server and put up a NS server instead. There is game that blows CS out of the water.

anyway I copy and paste the IP so I know it's right and yes I am on net games.

Are thier filters that should be off to get it up?

yeah if u add a server u hafto filter out for favorites...cuz thats what that server goes under

the port is the number after the :

For all CS servers its 27015

And turn off all your filters except the one that says "Favorites only" and also make sure that your connection speed thing on the top isn't limiting your list somehow.

I am almost always playing on my server when im at home. Me and my friends have a clan, [Fat], if anyone wants to play on my server there are usually people on it.

27015 isn't the only CS port... there are others such as 27016

Really? Every server I've seen was on 27015. Oh well.
