    Autoshow Pictures!!! LOTS!

My Dad and I went to the Philadelphia International Autoshow today, and we had a great time! So, I want to share some of the cool cars that I got to see with all of you! Here they are:

Cool Hummer display, I'm 6'1" and I had to get on my tippy toes to get inside one! HUGE trucks.

Neat Jeep concept, named the Willys2. The roof was made completely out of a glass panel! And if you look inside the wheel well, it has a Carbon Fiber underbody!

The Cadillac XLR, seen here exactly as you will be able to buy one (For the low low price of $80,000!) It will be powered by a Northstar V8 pushing only 315hp But, its built on the same platform as the C6 Corvette and it's built right at Bowling Green, KY where the Corvette is made. They share lots of the same parts. Only this is filled with tons of Technology. You dont need a key to get in, the key FOB does everything, you merely walk up to the car and the doors unlock automatically. Also, when your in the car (the car knows when you are in the driver seat holding the key somewhere on your person) you just touch a button on the dash and the car starts.

    More!

Porche's new SUV, 460HP AWD. NICE!

I thought this Dodge Rep. was really good looking, and took a pic, and it turned out funny!! I love snapping pics when people are talking.

A classic GT40 race car!! What a treat, I've never seen one in person! A testament to Carrol Shelby right there.

AND!!!! A REAL RACE COBRA!! REAL REAL REAL! NO KIT! $500,000+ car right there. Most people walked by it like "oh a Cobra hmmm" Idiots...

This was amazeing, this car was bought in peices, it was cut up for junk, and someone bought the peices and resotred it back to original condition.

I salute whoever it was that restored it! I love seeing things like that, and they still race the car in historic races too!

I saw a sign for Skirmish USA there, and LOOK WHATS ON THIER SIGN!!!

Cool Concept car from Buick! I think this was one of Harley Earls designs.

        It's the BATMOBILE! haha

ok last one, This is the 3.2 V6 that Mercedes uses in the C320. Does anyone know what the thing I circled in blue is? The yellow lines are a rubber hose that goes to the two silver vacuum pots. The green lines are a connecting pipe that leads into the intake runners. My dad is an excellent mechanic and knows cars, and he couldnt figure out what it was.

Gotenks: Yeah I'm disappointed in it too They made 99 initial cars, which sold in 14 minutes through the internet! So I guess there are people that want them.

We think its some kind of pump too, it's really bothering my dad and I to find out what it is! haha, we are a curious bunch.

SpongBob: yeah the Willy was cool!

Man, the front end on the Buick concept is ugly.

What is the average HP in the class the Caddy is competing in?

Well it's a "luxury sports car" so I would think it's competeing with the SL 500 Mercedes, and the M Coupe BMW, the Lexus SC430 and maybe the Infiniti G35 (not fair comparison because the G35 is way less money but...), etc. So in that case, in terms of HP its less than the SL 500 Mercedes, even with the BMW M Coupe (which gets a styling update next year), less than the SC 430 and more than the G35.

                      So who knows...

H2=Soccer Mom Hummer, I don't like em'. My girlfriends dad had one over the summer(he owns a bunch of car dealerships in NY) so I got to drive one a few times. Really nice interior and a nice ride, but nothing IMO beats a Black H1 thats fully loaded and bullet-proofed.

Nice pictures... wish I was there.

Yeah, the H2 is such a woman's vehicle...... Sure, I would prefer the standard H1, but I would not call the H2 anything less than a great vehicle in its own right. I would also not kick it out of my driveway. Not to mention the price difference between the two....

Well if it's a soccer mom Hummer, then I want to marry that soccer mom!! The H2 is VERY off road capable. It is worthy of the Hummer name. But, you can't compare a military vehicle to a civilian, and vice versa.
