Neat Jeep concept, named the Willys2. The roof was made completely out of a glass panel! And if you look inside the wheel well, it has a Carbon Fiber underbody!

Told you the Jeep was cool!

The Hummer H2 on the other hand is a modified Chevy Suburban. Same Platform and engines, just a bit of cosmetic changes. For that kind of cash, I think I would just opt for the Tahoe and pocket the difference!

H2 Myth

The H2 shares the same basic platform as the Suburban sport ute, but it was actually cut to be made shorter and beefed up extensively. Thats the only thing it shares with any GM Sport Ute. It uses a lot of GM Truck Components, but the myths thats its a "refaced SUV" are wrong. It has a very versitle transfer case, with 4 hi open, locked and 4wd low. Torsen beam front suspension, air bag adjustable rear, gobs of wheel travel and a surprisingly low center of gravity for being so high. Plus the V8 isent even OHC. Just good ol' pushrod. It's built in a completely seperate plant from other GM SUV's too.

Trust me, my dad and I went all over them at the car show looking for some reason to hate them, we couldnt find one. haha

Don't forget- it's got real armor skid plates underneath. And anything that isn't armored is tucked up under the body. No tender pieces hanging down to get smackeded by a rock.

any one remember the simpsons where homner bought an f series canyonero?????? kinda reminds me of the h2... i repember seing one parked infront of the sandwich shop across the street from AGD when i went for my tour, it looked nice, but id rather buy a viper, or a real truck for that $$$
