In all honesty, marijuana should be legal. Not a single person has died in the past few years from smoking it compared to the thousands upon thousands that die from alcohol posioning. There is no such thing a THC poisoning :). Also, a lot of studies have shown the only lung term effects of weed is lung damage, and short term effects are short-term memory lose. Your memory comes back after you stop smoking (belive me, i know first hand, i used to be the little devil of a pothead until i decided to wait till it becomes legal (dont feel like getting arrested or paying like waaaaaaay to much for it), which i hope is within the next 5 years. Nevada voted on it and it didnt pass, o well. I can tell you this, more people in my school smoke weed more then anything else, that includes alcohol, shrooms, E. They did a study in my school and i believe something around the numbers of 75% of students said they have or will try marijuana. And all those commercials are complete BS. I can tell you, i would never ever pick up a gun high, and in my mind. we used to play paintball stoned (when we used to smoke), and we were more shady about it then ever, we would all make sure we were all safe and everyone was chronoed and all. And that one commercial when the kid hit that girl on the bike, BULL FREAKIN CRAP, my was so alert when i used to smoke and if you hit a kid on a bike while stoned, its just coincidental in my mind.


IF MARIJUANA WAS LEGAL, IT WOULD BE A MULTI-BILLION DOLLER A YEAR INDUSTRY. Imagine it, going into your local 7-11 and getting a pack of "Marlboro Joint 100s" hehehe

i think there are so many of these commercials cause so many kids are smoking weed now a days. almost every kid i know has smoked weed, but maybe only half drink.

not everyone is alert when they are high, especially if they drink too. you might not play with guns when your high, but other kids might.

if it ever does become legal, the government will tax the crap out of it, and it would probably end up costing close to what it costs to buy it illegally. legalizing it could be good cause then you would know that the weed you smoke doesnt have any other drugs in it, but it could also be bad cause tobacco, or weed, companies would probably add chemicals to it.

its more likely to come from Humboldt county (me) then anywhere else and there isnt to much terrorism here (lol i live in a redneck town) and there isnt to much profit off selling pot. yes all those things in the commerial "could" happen but not bloody likely. i smoke everyday some times couple times a day and ive never hit a kid or gotten a girl pregnaunt. i have been pulled over twice under the influence of pot and the police here dont care because a lot of the comerials are just tellin you complete bull of worse case scenerios. just dont beleive everything you hear on TV.

Has anyone seen that South Park Episode "My Future Self 'n Me" ?? I might smoke once every couple weeks, I still get A's and B's.

even though south park is quite unrealistic, thats probably whats really going on, people are stretching the truth, saying that buying pot supports terrorism....

i know lots of people who smoke a real lot and still get A's..

i think that the only thing that might actually support terrorism is hash.

download "grow more pot" by jello biafra (lead singer from dead kennedys, came in 4th for mayor of san fran one year).. that will give you all of the facts on pot, and once you listen to that, you wil realize that the pot plant is a very universal thing.

Yes middle east countries grow NO pot they produce opium and Columbia produces cocaine. The biggest producer of marijuana in the world is jamaica at about 60%. Umm yeah lots of terrorism in Jamaica......
Anyway California is the #1 prducer in the US at about 22% Tenn produces about 11% and kentucky is about 9% there is almost half the pot grown in this country in three states. I know i dont support terrorism because i know exactly where my bud comes from and so do most other people.

why not make beer illegal deadeye? lets bring back prohibition. ressurect amendment 18. What does alcohol do? o yeah, thats right, it kills brain cells, causes ulcers, causes liver cancer...should i go on?

what did prohibition do? it brought organized crime. What does marijuana do? brings organized crime.

People want it legalized for municipal purposes. you know, smoke a few bowls with some of your buddies, hang out, watch a football game, just like alcohol.
