Herb has gotten a REALLY bad rap.

It's far less harmful than alcohol, which has been legal for ages! That causes way more deaths and problems in the world and it's OK. Cigarettes? Horrible!

I'd rather hang out with a buncha burnouts than a buncha alcoholics! At least i won't get my face smashed in, my sister won't get raped and my neighbours won't get T-boned in their car.

I have no problems with herb, there are worse things that people shouldn't be allowed to do.

So you're telling us that when you get drunk, you rape your sister and then crash into your neighbors car? Boy are you one mean drunk.

This is the only time I'm going to post in here, because really, arguing on the internet is stupid. I will never concede that marijuana should stay illegal as long as alcohol is legal and marijuana isnt. Marijuana is safer than alcohol for a few reasons. People arent as impaired by pot as with large amounts of alcohol. No matter how high, you can still walk. And second, you can't smoke yourself to death, but plenty of people drink themselves to death every year. But instead of legalizing and taxing it to gain revenue, the government continues to spend money trying to arrest people for it,and then of course paying for them to live in jail. The high school I went too had the cops bring in drug dogs to the school to try and catch kids with pot. And they would be there for hours at a time instead of doing something meaningful to actually make our community safer.
