AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
well, we are at war with iraq, and if sadam starts blowing up the oil wells again like in desert storm, the prices will go WAY up again... then if we shoot the little bastard, we will control iraq and get cheap oil for all!

Gods this topic really gets on my nerves. This MIGHT have been said before but i have no time to waste on the whining. Gas prices here have hit 1.69 1.79 1,89 for 87, 89, 92-3 octane respectively. I will agree that this is higher then the rock bottom prices we have become used to. I will also agree that the percentage of increase is more than the percentage increase in crude oil prices. This means some where along the line that profit margins have oincreased a bit. HOWEVER, when i started driving gas prices were the same granted it was 91 so the situations were similar too. but that pans out to 0% inflation in 12 years. That gives no one the right to complaine about gas prices. Unfortunately for me i still drive a gas hog of a vehicle but that is my choice. If your transportaion is a gas hog don't whine about it sell it and get something else, or sack up and shut up.

Yeah trucks are nice I used to have a 78 f250 4x4 351 and dual tanks $65.00-70 to fill up back in 91. BTW if you can get dual tanks there is nothing to compare ith the "security" of dual tanks driving down the highway in BFE and flip the switch only to discover that either you forgot that you used the other tank, or in my case dad "borrowed" the truck and burned a tank while i was in school.
BTW for those still speculating I am not a redneck but i play one on tv.

Yeah, I was out in the Mountain View/Sunnydale area at the tail end of last week and through the weekend for a job interview, and the cheap stuff was $2.08 a gallon.
I'm not under the alkafluence of inkahol that some thinkle peep I am. It's just the drunker I sit here the longer I get...
i used to work pumping gas (full service was king, none o dat self serve stuff)
we had a cam2 pump, thats 118 octane racing fuel. it was 3.75 a gallon back in 1985. the pump was old skool in that it had rotating analog numbers, not that digital stuff. those numbers would go so fast on that pump you couldnt even read em, much less do the old gas pumper trick of stopping to the dollar from a full bore pump.
havent seen cam2 in years, wonder how much it is now?
