thinking of getting a trumpet

Ok... i have a beginers trumpet and trombone.... now the cool thing about my trombone is it's got the F trigger which means u RARELY go past 5th position.... and my trumpet is an OLDS.... Trumpet is for $250 ... and the Trombone i bought brand new and never got lessons so i just fooled around with it... its for $200.... i dunno if Psychomag is still on these forums but he can be a reference for me other then that i really don't have n e references but being on AO should be good enough were like a tight knit family and i wouldn't ever wanna be pushed away from you guyz .... i'll try to get pics in my next post....

Trumpet 1.... this is the whole thing... hopefully i'll be able to find a mouthpiece for ya... if not i'm sorry you can prolly pick 1 up at a local music store for like 20-25 bucks

Now i bought the trumpet used for the local music store... and it came with this stuff... not sure exactally what it is but my teacher said its not that big of a deal... and it has never effected the sound of this horn

Yes $250 for trumpet or $200 for trombone... if ur really into starting up a ska band i suggest getting a trombone like someone else stated earlier... most ska band u hear use trombones... but it is ur choice and my offer stands if u get money n e time soon .... if u do get really into SKA and u wanna play trumpet in the band... i suggest a shilke(sp?) they have a very lively tone to them

hey i may buy that trombone of yours if espo doesnt want it, but i just need to know afew things. is it decent? the last trombone i bought off the internet the finish came off the inner slide and it doesnt like to move that much.

its not the greatest slide... but i'm sure wit sum TLC(slideoil and aluminum polish) this baby would be kickin.... but its a no name brand... from what i've done.. just playing around with it... i also let one of my friends use it during school band for a couple of days.... he said the tone is great the slide just isn't as smooth as he's used to... but he also used the school horn and i believe they are all bachs

I play trumpet at skool and i got a silver KING and its pretty good.Band director is a penis though.
