You know what...I think you're right. The movie I was thinking of in my head has Arnold Schwarzenegger in it.

    Running Man? Is that better?

Don't forget the Delta Force Series with Lee Marvin and Chuck Norris.

        Fred Ward as Remo Williams

        Red Scorpion starring Dolph Lundgren

        The Punisher starring Dolph Lundgren

Quiet Cool with James Remar -Ajax from "The Warriors"

        Raw Deal with Arnold Schwarzenegger.

White Lightning and Sharky's Machine with Burt Reynolds.

There are too many to name...but hope you enjoy some of these.

        Digitard,
Read the book the Running Man by Richard Bachman aka Stephen King. It's so much better than that horrible schlock film Arnold S made.

Nothing beats Starship Troopers...of course the cheesyness of that was kind of intentional. Also, the mix of bad acting and a high budget is great

hey, you can't forget the Import influence for CAM's (cheesy action movies).

"Hard-Boiled" and "The Killer" for example

I love watching chow-yun-fat walk into a room with 1 pistol, and take out 30 guys without reloading or the hoards of nameless-henchmen who can't seem to hit ANYTHING except innocent bystanders with their sub-machine guns

RED DAWN is the movie I spent my whole young life obsessed with. WOLVERINES!!!!!!!! Me and my friends used to go around town and find tactical vantage points, hiding places, etc. in case the Russians ever invaded and there was conventional warfare. In the 80's we would lay down on skateboards with our cammies on and back packs and roll deep into the sewer systems under my town. It ruled. hahahahaha Yes I was a freak.

red dawn was great!!!! when it came out my mom wouldnt let me go see it so i had to arrange other means. dont forget another fine patrick swayze(sp) movie, road house. also, the running man movie pissed me off so much because aside from the name it has nothing in common with the book. i hate to be one of those "the book is so much better" freaks but in this case the book is SO much better. the book storyline would have made a much better film imho.

Red Dawn was GREAT! But what was even better, and really got to me was The Day After. Now THAT was a movie. And only after seeing it did they tell folks that in real life it would have been 10 times worse. Nope, not a cheesy action film, but Red Dawn reminded me of it.
