i saw the day after about a week ago. its weird looking back on that and thinking there was a real possibility that could have happened. cheesy in that it was a tv movie, but not cheesy in message.

I almost forgot one of my favorite parts of these movies...the part where something has gone horribly wrong and the hero has to drive/walk/ride around town thinking about it. While this is happening, they cue up the nameless 80's band power ballad with some generic lyrics and the hero looks all serious like "What am I going to do now?" Well, it's obvious...he's going to refocus and kick everyone's butt.

I gotta agree Red Dawn was great! I remember I wanted to kill me some Commies after I saw that movie.
