The two trails leading away from the fork look identical - You do not know which trail is which.

One trail leads to safety.

The other trail leads to death.

There are two brothers (twins) who guard the trails.

Both guards are the only ones who know which trail is which.

One of the guards ALWAYS tells the TRUTH.

The other guard ALWAYS tells a LIE.

The two guards look identical - You do not know which guard is which.

You are only allowed to ask one guard one question.

What do you ask if you want to escape to safety?
